Congratulations on the win, although I was competing against you I still have to give you props. Anyone who swaps a full WRX or STI engine and drivetrain into an SF5 like you did deserves kudos.

Thanks! I've seen a few of your cars, you have great taste. The "S" model Foresters come with color matched trim.

I did the swap in my garage, so the only costs were the parts. I would say around 6K for the engine and trans.

*should* be back on the road mid January.

There is a crap load of custom fabrication going on, so there is a lot of hurry-up-and-wait. Currently waiting on a few things including a back ordered AP Racing master cylinder. New body parts coming from Japan too.

I'm trying to keep the build hush hush until it's ready to show off.

I've pretty much written off all the winter track days. Dave is safe for now.
