04 WRX parking light bulb?

Ok I tried searching here but no luck. My drivers side front parking light is out. Its the small one in the upper corner. Can someone please let me know what type of bulb it is and if its amber or white/clear bulb?

You can use a 168, 194 or W5W.

The W5W is typically standard outside of the US, meaning that EDM & JDM cars will come with this bulb standard while the USDM cars will come with the 194. The W5W is a 4-watt bulb instead of a 2-watt, as with the 194.

It's a bit brighter and whiter than the 194.

is the bulb amber or clear? What do you suggest I replace both of them with if I have HID's and yellow fog lights. Mind you my fogs are hooked up to my parking lights.

I might as well just stop by a nappa on the way home and pick up a 194

This is super old, but I just changed my parking bulb so i'll contribute.

On JDM 2004 STi Headlights, the parking bulb is a W5W 12V5W. Bulb is clear.

They didn't carry that at my local Advaced Auto Parts so I just bought some 168 (14V 4.9W) and 194 (14V 3.8W). Put in Sylvania 14V 4.9W bulbs and it is working so far.

I have a question..how the heck do I access this bulb? can I go through the hood or do I have to remove the headlight assembly?

You'll have to remove the entire headlight assembly. At least that's what I did. My driver's side went out and I couldn't reach it with the battery in the way. It was a PITA.

it was a major pain the side, i have a 03 wrx and i had to remove the grill then the headlights just to get to both of the outside driving lights, i used a 168 clear bulb thats what my local auto parts store recomended

all good now
