Don't you just love it when v8's decline.

No they did not BAN him, he has been very busy working and staying away from Drama and marketing his business. You see he got his can in the 10's rather than flapping his gums in the wind and posting about trying to get to the track, his tires, his motor, his day and how it went and a thousand other excuses.

Action Bro! you need to do the same!

You over 8 thousand views and your last couple of pages, it's like your writing a love story, a diary, a poem or something...

The next time honestly and will all do respect... when I read your next post I want to see a time slip, not a weather report.

Billy I'm not braking your chops, but your post here was OT and uncalled for.

Good luck with your whip!

Thanks to the Drive Shaft Shop I upgraded to the Level 5 system which also broke

Since I feel the stock STI suspension is perfect as is and handles great, I had to use tire pressure adjustments to work my way around the rear wheel hop issues which were breaking the shafts.
Solid job getting into the 10's. Though it seems to me (though my opinion may not be worth much since I DON't have a car in the 10's) that if the issue was wheel hop, eliminating THAT would have cost a bit less than 6 sets of half shafts. That's awesome that you did it on stock suspension but I don't think you will loose any respect here by upgrading that a bit.

Thanks for the support George

As many may or may not know, I was one of the first guys to buy and modify a then 2002 WRX back in 2001 when thet first came to the USA. Myself and the Imprezer (Alex) of the i-club which is what this was called back then. Alex and myself, and a couple of others, were the fastest and the first to pave the trail in modifying these cars. Back in 2001, I was the first to do the JDM STI conversion into my USDM bug eye as well.

Those who are curious can research some of my posts from back in the day and see the kind of Subaru work I was doing 6 and 7 years ago. Many will recall it was my almost daily dyno boasting which lead to the creation of this "Pruven Power Bragging" forum.

I decided to sponsor this forum by paying vendor fees for my business - Dyno Flash which started as a Evo reflash tuning business and has expanded to other tuning services including Subaru.

What I found was a lot of people who like to trash others, spew negative insults and play games. After several months wasted in those kind of arguments, I finally decided to just stop posting here.

At the time, I felt that this area of the fourm needs more effective moderation, frankly, I am not interested in paying my hard earned money to sponsor a place where people are acting like 6 year olds and insulting each other.

When my subscription expired, I just decided not to renew.

To me it is very regretable to see this forum taken over by a few clowns.

In any event, I never let negative and toxic people stop me from doing what I do.

Back to the subect at hand,

I assembled the engine in my STI with my own two hands. I selected and insatlled all the parts. I tuned it myself and I drove it myself. The car has been running since March, driving every day. Anyone who is interested in how the car runs is welcome to come by ICS any day and go for a ride. It is simply a demonstration car to show case our talents and what can be done in a street Subaru.

I thank those who have contributed inteligent and rational responses to my thread.

Thanks - its a great shifting box and has proven to be very reliable and strong over a lot of abusive miles of hard driving, we appreciate your help.

I am going to bring down my spare box for the same treatment to have as a spare as I would never want to go back to the stock gearing.

al,

all you need to remember is that there are only ~150 subie owners in the 10's in the world......no need to listen to criticism from all the stage 2 guys

there arent very many people who have gone through the hard work, money and obstacles to get where you're at.

how many people in the world have a 9sec evo and a 10 second sti.....

just do what you do....
