Default Yimi Sport Tuning vendor thread

Hello SoCal NASIOC'ers. Many of you might already know about us already, but I figured we were long overdue for a formal introduction to the community.

Yimi Sport Tuning has been serving the Subaru community for nearly 2 years now out of our facility in Santa Clarita, just 30-40 minutes from Downtown LA, the Westside, Ventura County and the Antelope Valley. We are very much a one stop shop for all your parts, installation and tuning needs. We offer performance related parts/service as well as routine maintenance services. We stock both performance related parts as well as OEM Subaru maintenance parts. We also offer custom fabrication and welding services to help meet projectís goals.

ECU tuning still remains our primary focus and for the month of October 2008 we are running the following specials:

Cobb AccessPort + 2 custom tuned maps (for example a pump gas map and a race gas map or methanol injection map):
Regularly $1195
NOW $995

AccessPort tuning with 2 custom maps:
Regularly $500 NOW $400

Opensource custom tuning:
Regularly $400 NOW $350

We can also tune AEM, Hydra and many other forms of engine management. We stock 100 and 104 octane unleaded, as well as 110 octane leaded and methanol.

We also stock parts from Cobb, ATP, Greddy, Invidia, APS, Forced Performance, Deatschwerks, Swift, Megan Racing, Injen, Labonte Motorsports, HKS, Hawk, Powerslot, Brembo, ACT, Russell, Eneos, Redline, Prodrive, Racetech, Sparco and many others.

Mention that you came to us from NASIOC and receive 10% off any parts purchased or ordered through October 31th.

+1 billion for yimisport

they are very knowledgeable in anything you throw at them, If you have a question to ask about Tuning/Car related issues they are the ones to come talk to. Very reliable when it comes to their work. one of few mechanics i trust to work on my car.

Thanx for the engine info paul. Turns out I am reading the oil pressure in KPA x100. So 17.4 psi. According to what I have been reading a hot idle should be 20-30psi. So I am low and need to consider it relatively soon. Yet not so sure about the fp green as many are happier with a dom 3. So more reading

Not quite. The guys at Yimi Sport have been really patient with my car being there and sitting / collecting dust. I've been pouring my money into my business so the parts buying has been put on hold but they're cool with taking parts off my car to sell and just hanging out.

The Dom3 is a very good turbo, but if you are looking at a bolt-on configuration GT30R, I'd recommend the ATP3076 instead (we stock them). I prefer the proprietary turbine housing that ATP uses better than the generic Subaru bolt-on housing that most other turbo builders use. In addition the ATP turbos use a genuine Garrett compressor cover, so it is a close to a true Garrett GT30R as you can get in a bolt-on configuration. As for you oil pressure, 17 psi at hot idle is indeed low. Obviously we can help you address that when we build your new motor.

Another very happy customer of the guys at Yimi Sport. I got a stage two intall and tune about 5 months ago on my forester & they stayed late on a Friday night to make sure everything went right with the tune. I will definitely be giving them a call sometime next year for a 20g setup and tune! Thanks again Paul.
