thanks for posting a vf48 on a 2L. Been waiting for someone to do this.

Maybe you could improve the spool rpm with a properly modded header? I was hoping it would be a couple hundred rpm sooner than that. I may do a similar setup on my '02, except with an EL header, spearco TMIC, and possibly meth. Power # is pretty much what I would have expected- looks good!

Good to see a VF48 chart on a 2L. Not much torque, but nice hp. What kind of dyno?

well without comparing the rest of the mods i think its unfair to say anything but a couple more PSI and I was making quite a bit more but my clutch wasn't up to the task.

the smoking vf39 will have to serve me until i can find myself a tune : /

Is that Greddy Evo2 a 3" system? If not, I would suggest upgrading. Other than that, it looks good. Nice power band. What did this dyno stock?

Highly recommend a South Bend Clutch stage 3 if you are slipping ATM! I just installed one and it feels fantastic and they are a decent price! GL!
Nice numbers too!

Can't compare theshop dyno with dentsport as they run different correction factors. BTW, I'm sure the op's car spools much faster on the street. My dyno chart looks laggy from dsg too.

I know this is an old thread but my only other option I looked into for a turbo was the vf48 but im leaning towards the Tomei7760 after looking at the spool here.

So you dont hit full boost till around 4,000 rpm?
