Default Kinda stupd question, but take a look and tell me what you think

I love the way this cars front end looks. And if I was rich I would have an exact replica of the car, but to make it look like that it would cost probably
$15,000+ to do it. Here are the pics

and this one

So my question is, what would be the poor mans way of making the car look similar to this. I am not buying that body kit and I do not mean shabby work. What I am asking is what available parts on the market would give my car a somewhat similar look. I love the hood! This is a serious question. You help is appreciated everyone

gonna be hard to make your car look like a bugeye sti. Especially if your doing it to a 04. There just arnt a lot of replica parts that look like it.
Im just a bit confused about what your asking since it says you have a 04 bugeye?

Search ebay for "02 impreza halo headlight". You'll find some kinda ricey headlights. However, they look similar to the WRC lights. So, you rip out the turn signal lens and turn signal and turn the space above the lights into a vent, and hopefully replace the stock optics with better modules, such as these: http://www.rallylights.com/hella/60mm_modules.asp

Although, I'm not sure how kindly those modules would take to being out in the open.

look at seibon carbon fiber hoods. i know they have something similar.
prodrive grill
and those are not morette head lights they are the prodrive headlights
and that is also the Burn-up WRC Front bumper
i have no clue on the fenders
you can probably find those mirros on e-bay as well
and the name of that front lip is slipping my mind but i know someone on here a couple days ago asked about it.

here is link to a guy with some of the same parts, and i know that there is a blue one on here as well.

The little fogs in the bumper, are ambers. They look like they are made to be turn signals. Throwing this out there I am not buying fenders All I am looking for are the closest thing to the hood, bumper and lights. Instead of buying a new CF hood, does anyone know if there is some type of vent that can be installed on the hood to make it look like that one?

I am 26 and as I posted in post #6. Myself and a local did a front end swap. Yes, I have a 04 wrx, but I have a 02 front end swap hood, fenders, bumper, lights, core support. So I just say that I ahve a 04 "bugeye", get it.

Ok, these will not be street legal at all.
1. There are apears to be no blinker, unless the blinker is in the usual spot
2. That gay little blinking red light will get you pulled over in a heart beat. Why couldnt they just make the red blinking part red?

these, If there was no red and light bulbs were in stock locations they wouldnt be bad
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RED-H...mZ180291966842

Is this the closest alternative besides spend $700-$1000 on lights. BTW Im not spending that for lights

If you dont want to buy fenders you could either buy the burn-up bumper for stock fenders, or you could buy the uk/prodrive bumper. Both of those are costly. The headlights you could diy out of ebay lights, get uk/300 prodrive lights, or morrettes.

The turn signal is on the top, but you should rip it if you use a WRC replica bumper.

http://garagespec.com/catalog/produc...5194d509b94eea

The bumper, turn signals, grille, and grille trim pieces are all one part, so you just need to figure out headlights and that vent. Modding those ebay headlights (replace the trash projectors, get rid of the turn signal on the top, then smooth them out and paint them) will get you something that looks quite close to the WRC lights, and then all you need to do is figure out the vent.

I know I've seen a replica of that vent, I'll try and track it down.

That would be awesome. I found the real one on japanparts.com for like $260. If I could find a replica, that would be even better

I dont have the cash for that bumper, but that is sick how the ambers are in the bumper.

I think I have found all the pieces I need, here will be my WRX WRC'ish look

STI hood scoop
Hood vent (hopefully replica)
Prodrive lip
Track dog performance splitter
Stock headlights with black eyelids(covers top of blinker a little bit) for now

Havent decided if I want to
A Keep yellow fogs(I do like the added light)
B Get fog mesh covers
C Get STI fog covers or
D Source those fog covers that wrap from the side of the bumper to the front, with the 2 splitters in them. I did see someone sell them before. Im sure I can find them on japanparts

I dont know what you guys think, but I think this set up will be unique and look real good.
