Default Tail lights/Parking lights not working

I had the car dyno tuned and for some reason after I left, the parking lights were not working.

I checked the fuse in the drivers kick panel and the 10a fuse for the lights was blown. I replaced it and immediately after turning on the parking lights again the fuse blows out no mater how many times I replace it. I even checked the main fuse box under the hood and those were all fine too.

I had installed an alarm on there two weeks before this happened but it was all working fine and gave no problems. I don't know if this is related to it but I disconnected the main alarm brain and disconnected the tapped parking lights wire from the alarm and still same problem....

This sucks I haven't been able to drive the car at night for over a week now anyone have any other suggestions?

If the fuse is blowing out by just turning on the parking lights then you should inspect the wiring around and near the lights. Perhaps you will find the trouble there. If not there then check under the dash.

Yea I checked all the wiring around the lights and they were fine. I checked under the dash already for the obvious but nothing...

Weird thing is if I change the fuse before turning the lights on, and I press the arm/disarm button on the remote the parking lights will flash. But once I turn it on from the switch, bam it blows.

After looking at some data it looks like there is a seperate fuse for the front and rear lights. Can you tell me what the fuse number is on the one that is blowing? You should be able to find a reference number for the fuse in the cover or owner's manual.

The fuse that's blowing is a 10a, located in spot 5 in the drivers kick panel. Fuse cover says its for tail clearance. Its the only fuse that keeps blowing and is causing both front and rear parking lights to stop working.

Looking at the drawing again it does show there is only one fuse (#5) that supplies power to the front and rear lights. I was looking at the wrong thing.

There is a 24 pin connector possibly behind the passenger seat or near the door that has a red/yellow wire on pin 17 that goes to the rear area for the lights. If you can find that connector and seperate it that would help to see if the trouble is in the rear area. There is a trailer connector somewhere and the trouble may be with it. The front lights use the same color wire as the rear ones.

i disconnected both front parking light harnesses and the rear, still was giving same problem though.

Does the diagram show any wires for the parking lights under the dash area cause that's the only spot the tuner was messing with wires around since the test connector's are there.

The front and back lights are both provided power using red/yellow wires starting from the fuse panel.

hmmm dunno I'm not finding anything that's wrong with the red/yellow wires.

Is it possible the actual switch is faulty and causes this problem?
