I like to think that I have a high tolerance for just about any type of music except country and most classical rock. Some of the stuff that I listen to regularily includes:
* Hard rock
* Jazz
* New age
* Some classical
* Instrumental guitar and piano
* Flamenco
* House
* Techno
* Blues
* Indie
* plenty of other stuff I'm missing

So, what's the best radio staion to hear new music?

92.9, 101.3, and 102.1 are some good stations that play new music. 92.9 plays new songs a little too much

I listen to everything except religious music.

I have a wide variety of music in my changer from Linkin Park, to Dixie Chicks.

Anything but COUNTRY!

And Religious music.....Although I have been known to flip to the Religious channels on cable just to "check out the circus freaks".

Any other type of music is pretty much OK. OK, wait a minute. I hate modern R&B, too. And most modern Rap drives me insane. Older 80's rap was much better. They sang about fun stuff, instead of the crap they sing about now. I guess 70's rock is still my favorite, although I LOVE moderns bands like Alice in Chains, Tool, Radiohead, and Spacehog. My favorite band of all time is Dire Straits. And i you haven't heard them already, check out Nickel Creek. If you like bluegrass/country you will like them! They kick a$$.

You just have to listen to Nickel Creek. They have roots in Bluegrass, mainly, but there are a number of other influences there, Country being one of them.

I should clarify my dislike for Coutnry being manily MODERN Country music. It's whiny, twangy, crap! Older country music I can handle. Although if I hear another song by Patsy Cline it'll be too soon! My Dad likes here, and I got my fill early on. And Willy Bloody Nelson! ARGGGHHH!!! I HATE HIM!

I have to admit that there are a number of Kenny Rogers songs I could sing along with. I listened to him a lot as a kid. Another Country singer that I like is Johnny Cash. I don't have any of his stuff, but I like what I have heard.

I like a lot of music that has Country influences, but I generally cannot stand pure Country music.

You did...he was saying he listens to "Nothing but Country!" So all he probably had in his car was country CD's, and check his radio presets the next time you are in there....all country!

Crystal Method? What songs do they sing? I like dueling banjos. They remind me of Deliverance. "squeel like a pig!"

Ok, I like everything. You name it I listen to it. My latest affection is the Strokes.

We need your opinions on driving music. Have you guys seen the Linkin Park WRC video. We want to make a drift video similar to the 360 videos with some damn good music. Got any suggestions?

I have been listening to a lot of Linkin Park as of late.. they are pretty good.

I mainly listen to techno, R and B, rap, classical, some rock depending on the song/group, never country! My mom burned me out on that stuff..

Linkin Park kicks butt, its one of those CD's that you can listen to the whole CD and do not have to skip tracks.

Nickel Creek is pretty good too, but not as good as Linkin Park.

I like just about everything.... even alittle bit of country here and there. I mostly listen to rock though.

Can you believe Nirvana is considered Classic Rock now? God, I feel so old........

Linkin Park is cool, can't wait to hear their new album. I hope it contains some good stuff like the LP/Executioners "It's Going Down" track.

Peace,

Mullet Dude
