Yeah, cost being a big difference to me. I'm also okay with avoiding anything that brings my car closer to the ground than it already is.

IMO caliper paint makes it look cheap. Everyone knows you just painted stock calipers, so why bother? Besides, when it gets dirty or chips it will look 10x's worse then just stock calipers.

Spring skiing on a beautiful day, stopped on the way out to take a few pics of my crazy dirty OBS with my new RA mud flaps.

Any input on a better way to attach my Yakima ski racks to the stock roof bars? The ones I have aren't the best looking and I've seen better ones on other cars. I've had a tough time finding any info either on this site or the Yakima web site.

35% is a classy shade I think, but go darker in the back. Helps with headlight glare at night.

This is 35 on the sides and 20 in back:

Wow I'm jealous you're skiing this late.
I use these clamps to attach my Yakima powderhound to the OEM rack:

I was looking at this... I think by the time you get all the pieces and parts, you're better off with a lightwerkz retro.

Or just step up to an H9 bulb in your low beams to hold you over.

MT_Pockets thanks for posting pics of the tint. It looks great! definitely on my list now. Did you get the bluebatmobile vinyls for the rears? or the Harman motives?

I did a quick writeup about my nav install into the 08 obs. check it... its been great so far.

Nice! Why not just get a mount that will allow you to flip it up flush with the ceiling, rather than a fiberglass box? Or is that the plan?

Nice writeup! Did you want to keep it easily removable or why not replace the OEM unit?

Those are bluebatmobile overlays, smoke on the third brakelight.

Would an H9 bulb fit correctly? I don't really know the size differences for all the various halogen bulbs. I just know that H11 is pretty low lumens compared to a lot of other base halogens...

Just bought a '09 OBS in silver a week ago and got rid of my '07 2.5i. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. So far I've upgraded the shock sensor, put on the exhaust sleeve, and put on 18" Rota D2's with 225/40/18 Kumho tires.

I'm planning on the sport grille, mudflaps, tint, and suspension work. I think I will be getting the STI pink springs but I have a question about sway bars. Does the WRX and/or the STI rear sway bar fit our vehicle? Is it best to get both front and rear bars?

WRX and STI rear sway will fit but you'll need to get the endlinks also. The fronts will not fit because the exhaust is different and will get in the way.

Nice ride Magic Marker! How much of the body roll went away after you put on the pinks? Have you done any other suspension mods?

Better bigger pictures please! Wheel and tire specs would be nice too.

Do you have to remove the entire strut to install springs or can you unbolt it from the towers and pull it down? Did you get an alignment after?
