Question Totaly clear tail lights

Text
Ok folks, i know you have all seem the Lexus IS 300's rear end.
I think those clear lighs look awesome. I think something like them on a white Imp would be very smooth looking
Do any of you know of any place that has completely clear lenses, not the half and half ones, but completly clear with red inserts?

thanks.

I think the only car IS300/Alteza lights belong on, is an IS300/Alteza.

They look hidious to me. And i would hate to see an Impreza ruined by them.

RICE!!!!!
Do not do that. if you get clear lights for your impreza, it will become property of Keith G and I will take, and find a good family for it.
Please don't bring your impreza down to that level ...thanks

The real composite lights are made for the IS. Those fakey composite lights are made for Civics. There's no need to Honda-ize a perfectly good Subaru.

Sorry you asked man. I think you're gonna find just about everyone on I-Club despise those lights. I think MOSTLY anyone will agree with me, right?

I'm sorry. The Altezza headlights belong on the Altezza. Though wait.. as I wrote that I know that I want a STi WRC spoiler for my WRX.

I think the biggest problem with those lights is that they are too damn "trendy".

Now, i think that most of us here at the i-Club are atracted to the impreza becuase of one large factor. Its unique. Alot of people dont like the design of the new WRX, BUT there is NO deneying that its a Subaru.

If the i-Club wanted to be trendy and normal, we would be called club-si, and run around like chickens with our heads cut off slapping "dubs", "eurolights", clear corners, and fart tips on our cars. While surfing the message boards on an iMac, trying to decide if our seconed car should be a PT Cruiser, or an Expedition.

Thank God we all think differnt, and like individuality...as well as enjoy the beauty of an object the way it was meant to be. You want to put some cool lights on your scoob, grab some STi's, just about anyone from the i-Clib would drool over those.

Hehe, anyway, sorry to rant, just trying to add a little humor to it all. Personaly, i think the Impreza looks quite fine the way it is.

I agree with the others that those lights just don't belong on the Suby, but could we, just once, have a discussion about the looks of a car without bringing in the "R" word? I use it when I'm by myself, sure, but posting about it always just seems to turn the thread into a big flame war, plus some people see it as derogatory. Sorry, just tired of it. Couldn't we just keep that word at home? Oh, and the guy who helps run club-si.com used to post here, because he also likes Subarus, but I think he left when he saw how we always slammed them. He was a good guy, too. Sorry, this kind of turned into a rant, but I feel better now, I swear !

Ok - here is a question for everyone - why are you giving this guy/girl crap about what tail lights he wants for his Impreza. It should be his/her choice whether he wants to put them on his car - and if thats what he wants to do, so be it. So everyone may not like it - be a little open minded. I was under the impression the point of these discussion groups was to help people out, not give them crap about their personal opinion.

well luckily for us no one makes them (to my knowledge) so there's nothing to worry about. The only people who can afford to be a subaru tuner aren't wasting they're time with lights and shift knobs and crap. They're building turbo kits and dogboxes.

If you find Altezza lights for a scooby... get'm!!!! (no one makes them though) It would piss most of these people off to no end, AND, you can be assured you would be unique. I've come to find that a majority of Subaru owners are big fans of keeping the looks pretty "stock". And for some reason, doing something much different to your car, or similar to what's on a lot of Honda's (and most other imports) angers them to no end and they immediatley have to deem it "Rice" (they love throwing that term around). I myself am still very much stock and probably wouldn't put Altezza lights on my Sub as I don't think it would look right. However, I don't feel the need to rant on it like some of the above.

Good luck finding 'em. I've been looking for months to no avail. Probably a bad idea to post about them on this board though. Check out my post in the dress up and style section under "euro tails". If you think you're getting flamed here check out the replies on that one. And I'll say it once more to everyone else on here: "TO EACH HIS OWN". BTW, if you find some of them, let me know cause I've just about given up.

good. give up on lookin for them.
I hate clear tail lights, go get a honda or something if u like that, please dont bring subarus down to that level. If so, ur out of the i-club + for the money to buy those, u can buy something useful, like a sway bar, or tires..you know something to make the car faster or handel better....something important!
