Default Import Tax Question Rims & Tires

Anyone have any experiance with what the Canadian duites would be on rims and/or tires purchased in the US (group buy etc) and shipped to Canada?

I'm not refering to PST/GST or stupid brokerage fees (UPS). Just the import duties that may be due on Rims and/or tires from the US.

Thx guys....

That's a grey area even the Canadian Government does not police properly.

At the very worst, you would get hit with GST.

Everytime I order automotive parts from the states, I just ask them to mark "Warranty Replacement" in strategic locations on the box.

That statement, for some reason, helps in moving things across. Even wheels.

BTW... Mr. Digital... I've got 225-45-17 Toyo T1-S on my Legacy GT no rubbing at all.

Excellent price from our sponsor as well (Wheels Direct). It maybe timely.

I'm hot on your tracks.... I just ordered the subzero's (in Bronze) from Wheels Direct, along with the Proxys T1-S's. Should have them in a few days. No real rush, cuz if this is spring, give me back winter.

BTW, thanks for the referal, Wheels Direct were very accommodating and Joey & Colin were very pleasent to deal with.

All I need to do now is be able to stop Next are SS break lines and x-drilled rotors
