Fellas,

Had a meeting with the Sales manager at Rally Subaru this morning. It went well.
First, he wants to meet everyone include Calgary also.
Second, he is planning a BBQ on a nice Sat warmer weather with the presence of 92.5 Radio Station and A channel in order to promote Rally Subaru and us. Have a poster picture taken with everyone in front of their car.
Third, he wants to know what type of discount we would like (10 to 15 %), sort of goodies that he can market for us....then have VIP cards made for us to get the discount....Support them and they will do the same.

I have to get back to him in a couple of weeks..Need everyone input.....

Remember that include CALGARY Owners also..

Also E-town members, Paul Swanson is the only MASTER TECH in Edmonton. Therefore if your vehicle is having issues, take it to Rally Subaru where he is based at. Subaru City does not have anyone...and last week , he was pulled to Subaru city to fix a Suby since noone did not have a clue what was wrong..

Let us know when the barbeque and that will be, and I will make an effort to come up to edmonton to be there, and I'll drag as many of the calgary AAWDC members up there as I can

ya thats sounds good......i can finally drive my suby to the suby meets. we should get some edmonton i-club/subaru club etc....stickers for our windows.....something like the vancouver i-club logo or like the "NESIC" logo.......and i want to get a sway bar....not sure what size yet.....should i get an adjustable (18-22) or a 17mm one??? anyway let me know when this is planned for and i will try and make it out.....if i am not working.

Anything prior to April 25th is killer for me. That is the last day of Finals for me.......then i start up again in May for spring session.
Late april or early may is good.

Gents,

If we're going to make it a BBQ and the name of the place is Rally Subaru, why don't we coordinate it to occur close to the time that the Rally in Edson is scheduled to go.

That's still a few weeks off, and we'll hopefully have warm enough weather to actually enjoy a BBQ.

Direwlf, you know the date of the Edson Rally?

2nd weekend in may (13th?) I think. Be careful with that though. I'm going to be doing scoring for the rally so I have no idea what time that weekend I'm going to have.

Well, I can't really pool because I can only take myself and one other person, most likely the girlfriend. But if you are willing to drive up people who aren't willing post it here and we'll make sure everyone who wants to go gets up there.

FYI:
Powerama is being held at the Agricom in Edmonton April 26-28. I was told that the import scene will represent nearly half of the space allocated for the competitors & vendors.

Bighorn Rally is May 18,19.
Rocky Mountain Rally is May 24,25.

I believe May 5 is the 1st weekend for the Power92 Street Legal Drags at Budweiser park. So they would not able to help promote Rally Subaru in an effective manner since most of thier weekend DJs will be at the strip covering the event. I also believe that Power107 also has an offset schedule so that the street legal drags will be held very often.

For those that are interested:
The Cochrane Rally of the Ranchlands is this weekend.
