I have one as well. I love this turbo. I only want to make 400 whp with meth and stock internals. This turbo seemed ideal.

Glad to see more DOM 1.0 owners out there, once I get all the bugs worked out I will have my numbers up. You have me thinking about going with an EWG now!

i mean i just looove the subaru... there's a reason SO many people mod them but i just didn't know if that choice of being different swayed u away from making a better decision for more power/the best mod.

Why be an azz and come in here with that crap ?

A D III is not always the better choice. I say no one defend their choice of the D1 to Mr cquirki as he is obviously here to tell us how dumb we all are for picking it and Blouch is for making it.

yes i love this turbo too, great spool, power etc. Im looking to try and get 450/450 out of this setup with some additions. the 6-speed should be in by spring. Im in the process of getting a header/PnP intake mani/TGV delete/meth in the winter, running it on 100 octane on the next tune, then eventually build the motor, going to try and such as much power/life out of the stock ej255

i like the car and setup...but that's not that true, 3800 rpm on a 370whp turbo isn't that great

no offense

Well maybe not great but not bad either. Holding over 340 whp at red line is great though is it not ? I am thinking this car should have a pretty nice trap speed..until the six speed goes in LOL ! Stupid shift to fifth right at the end of the run. There now is a remedy to that and it is not that expensive.

Whoa whoa whoa. You say that like its a bad thing.

I'd be doing that right now... If my neighbor had a dog... and i wasn't at work.

Back on topic:

Op: I know you're doing some P&p on manifolds, have you considered an EL header? Or are you in the "gotta have the boxer rumble" crowd?

OP: what do you think of the 38mm EWG? Do you wish you had gone with 44mm?
