Default Snow!!!!!

Whats up with this snow??

As we speak Winslow is stuck on his street trying to get out so we can work on Bills car. The things we do for our customers!

Well I hope no one put their summer tires on yet, and Happy Snow Plowing.

Kris

Thumbs up

Oh yeah!! Cant wait to bring out mah ride and try this stuff out. Driving was pretty fun at about 2:30 in morning last night in the RS. Gotta see how mah WRX works today. Havent started it for 2 weeks. Good thing I didn't change to my summer tires yet. Thinking aboout it all last week while I was in Texas. I gots the Costco brand studded tires on the RS and Nokians on the WRX. Only problem I encountered last night was the floating in the deep snow.

Finally!!!! I'm out of the snow and back in my garage. I got stuck twice and I had to help out a few other Subarus. Lots of Subies and trucks out on the road. I even saw a Neon out there. What's your estimate? 18 inches?

Yeah, I started out last night, on my summer tires no less, and slid thru the intersection in my neighborhood, decide to turn around and put my other tires back on, then went back out.

Haven't been out yet today though, neighbor came home as I was digging out my car, said they hadn't cleared the streets yet. Hmmmmm, Oh well.

BTW, I measured ~18-20", probably about 24 on my back porch.

I going to go do a test run around my block. If I make that, I'm going skiing. If I get stuck, one of you better come pull me out.

They're plowing my parking lot right now!

Once I make it to the main streets I'll be alright.

I just put 35x10.50 on my car and it runs great. It gives me the clearance to make it over the mountains of snow. Let me know if you get stuck.

I'm suprised they closed UAA too.

Sweet though, an extra day to study for one of my midterms.

Agreed Eby, I put off a studying a bit considering that UAA is out tomorrow. However Ill prolly still have to go to work.

What a bummer day tho. Instead of spending @ 7 hours working on my car, I spent @ 5 hours shoveling snow. I wouldve preferred the former rather than the latter. Oh well Kris, at least our boost gauges should be in by the time i get a chance to work on the car.

Take care all

Bill

Yeah,

The snow was havoc on everyones plans I am sure.

I was supposed to be working on Bills car all day, instead I ended up working at the Home Show all day to cover for my friend who had to plow all day. Oh well, such is life in Alaska!

Bill, hopefully we will be able to get your parts installed before next fall.

This was the first time in recent memnory that the hillside received less snow than the rest of Anchorage. We got between 8 and 10 inches at the house; I had no problems getting out at all. I even drove by work this afternoon but didn't go in 'cause they hadn't shoveled out the sidewalk.

On the bright side, I saw a Chevy Trailblazer stuck just off from 36th in a parking lot. He was pushing snow so high that it went up and over the hood and was all the way up to the windshield Must suck!

Winslow, were those 35's SuperSwamper TSL's?

Ron, How'd you guess? Those paddles work great on the WRX. Sucks for AutoX-ing.

Bill you are never going to get that stuff in your car!!!!!!

Muahahahah.

Since schools out tomorrow, I'm free all day. Wednesday before 5pm, Thursday and Friday are good too.

Let me know.

I was wading in waist-deep snow in my yard!! It took 2 of us 3 hours to clear my driveway. With a snow-blower, too! It was fun back-flipping into the snow. I can't remember seeing so much snow in one dump.

I got stuck in the RS in front of the driveway. Ahm trading in my subie for a truck. Yeah right, that goes against all my principles. Unless theres a white Toyota TRD supercharged out there for me.
