I got mine in the mail last week but have yet to install it. It looks like it should be more like $400 than $170. Its very nice and I'm very impressed with the build quality.

Yeah this is one of those best bang for the buck type of buys. I just wish prices and quality like this would be in the turbo market (yeah right!), oh well you can't win them all.

I ordered mine from www.cxracing.com directly. I figure it's worth the sligt price difference if anything ever were to go wrong with the radiator...Now comes the wait.

Yeah this really shows how you can get some cheap well made products. It's nice to see so many people jump on these things.... i bet CXracing is appreciating the business we all are giving them too!!!!
Everyone have a good thanksgiving!
Piece of advice for you guys doing it yourself, the yellow funnel is highly recomended to make filling it a breaze.

Got mine in! I'm very happy with the quality, especially at that price. Words of advice, tighten the new drain valve after your car has sat cold again after the initial install, I really had to tighten down hard on the O-Ring, wouldn't hurt do give your other connections a touch at that point either...

Yeah i had a slight lower hose leak a day after i did mine but just snugged it up a bit more and all is well. As for the drain i had no issues at all.

You'll probably need to do that a few times over the first week or so. It will actually be easier to tighten when hot/warm. I just wrap a rag/towel around my arm and reach down there and turn it.

I recently did a swap to one of these rads, after the second stocker in my '02 cracked on me. I however, upgraded it to the newer style with the cap on the rad, all i had to add was a T in the line and an extra 2 inchs of hose, works perfect.

Hey guys, I just wanted to report back that my CXracing Radiator I bought had a bad weld and it was slightly leaking. Kevin at CXracing is sending me a new one and did not reimburse my coolant even though it was defective on his part, which sucks cause Subaru Coolant is not cheap. However I just want to let you guys know that you should keep an eye out for even the smallest little holes once you get the radiator and inspect it closely so you don't run into the same problems. Once inspection is done, flush the whole radiator with hot water to clear out anything that might in there, before installation. Good Luck everyone.

I'm sorry to hear that man. At least he is sending you a new one at no cost.

Yeah that's the least they can do I mean its their own defect. But the thing is I out for the coolant which still sucks, I tried to fight for coolant but they said their warranty only covers the radiator. Still, it doesn't seem fair because the problem was not of my part....but hey that's how it is.

But do they still line up to the mounting points? If it had to be crooked to line up then it doesn't matter does it?

Dude, a few bottles of coolant should run you less than $15. There's nothing special about Subaru coolant, so I don't know why you're bending over for them. Think of the $$$ you're saving STILL over ANY other radiator out here.

Well I don't mind about the coolant anymore, but in either case its still a waste that should not have been. On another note when I checked this morning there appears to be far more leaks on the radiator that's on my car then I first reported. As for the new one I will have to a leak test to make sure its okay. My confidence with CXracing has gone down a lot.

The leak at the fitting is an easy fix, put a turn on it and it will probably go away. Are the others pin hole leaks? or just residual coolant from a spill durring install and filling?

Yep, that's a defect, not a connection problem. But they're taking care of it, you can't ask for much more than that, especially for the price (let's face it, if it was the same price as the Koyo then none of us would have one ).
