Default Official HTA Thread....Whose Got One?

Lots of hype over these 6-8 months ago and a bunch of people were buying them, so where are all the results?
I'd like to compile all the HTA Green and HTA GT35's into this thread.

Im still contemplating getting one.

Yes, I know there is no power and nothings proven so far in this thread....but the dyno sheets will come.

I've tuned plenty of OG and HTA's......I myself would get an HTA, i posted spool figures already of a catted, IWG pump gas car making serious spool.

phatron is secretly obsessed with the HTA and its powers to that point he has to make 1000 threads about it, oh noez GTR??

I switched from the regular 35r to an hta35r and noticed no gains in power but a loss in about 300rpms of spool.

Had a HTA35R on order. I was told I would receive it within two weeks. I canceled my order after TWO MONTHS of waiting. Worst service ever.

HTA is everything its supposed to be. Very happy with the fullboost <3200rpm and more power than i expected on pump gas. Observe a car that was setup properly and then make your judgements Phatron. Not all information can be found in PPB - I may just have to hop on the dyno and show you what Bren's tune pulls outta this "hyped turbo". Or anybody around the area is welcome to come for a spin and see for yourself I'll bring my laptop and you can watch the logs. /Thread

WTF? Thats why I started the thread...so I could see more data and then make a judgement.

The 3-4 plots/data I have seen for the HTA Green all contradict each other, especially comparing yours to rezs2jen's

The 3-4 plots/data I have seen for the HTA GT35 all contradict each other, especially comparing badazzcr's (Doug from Topspeed) data to Buschurs data.

I knew what you meant Ron. It was like the unveiling of a new state of the Art turbo and for months everyone was either on a list or looking to order one.

Then it just went quiet.

3 or 4 of anything does not make for any good case study especially one for Proven Power rights. Let us know what you find Ron.

I too was interested in the HTA Green but turn around for 1 is a joke from what I gather. I am looking at other turbos now

I have tuned about half a dozen HTA greens. Probably about 300to 400 Reg greens. I dont see alot of difference my self. I have exampls of older greens spool just as fast and making more power. I then have some exceptional examples of the HTA. I think the overal setup and motor has more to do with it then the two turbos. Recently have had better luck with the GT52. I also had a Dom3.0 that made some serious power and spool.

I have tuned about a dozen ATP 3071s and 3076s. The 3071 makes the same power as an 8cm 20G. Spool is a bit better but the top end falls off pretty bad. I can get them up to 400whp but I have to lean on them to 26 psi to do it. Not a bad street turbo. The 3076 is a bit better. But it still falls off up top. The Turbine housing is small. Nice turbos but you an get the 20G or the Green, GT52 or Dom for less money and make about the same power as the 3076. What people are going to realize is that all of these bolt on turbos are going to have power levels that will be close.

Hopefully you get a chance to tune an ATP3582 soon Clark. It is a great turbo and definitely my favorite in the ATP bolt-on Subaru turbo family. Not much of a hit in spool compared to the 3076 and a whole lot more on the top end.

I purchased rezs2jen's HTA Green. It's being rebuilt right now as I recieved it with almost all of the blades on the turbine wheel bent inside. If they were like that prior to the tune I'm sure that would defintely kill some spool.

Agreed... the GT52 seems to own the HTA green in all areas. I'd say the HTA green might have a LITTLE more up top, but for the street and a DD, the GT52 seems like its a lot better.

(bren's gonna be mad at me lol)

Yeah Baby! FP Green HTA Just Received Yesterday!
Haven't been put in yet because I'm still debating on going IWG or EWG.
If not it would of been in the first night I got it. This is a 2.4in Inlet

wow full boost at 3,119rpm from an hta 20psi? sweet, I think the hta maybe capable of breaking 500whp. I mean ICS got the orginal green to 470whp without head work?
