+1 on the turnout... Guac... wasn't worth the $1.65 to me. Either way, got a boost gauge out of the meet and a GOOD meal, no complaints.

ROFL.

She sat on the curb for a little while. She was like what you guys were talking about was going over my head. I was like mine too.

Its funny, in the Scion community its all about how the car looks, body kits, rims, vinyl, audio etc. So far I see the Scooby community is "How fast does it go"

Good times, and a nice turnout for sure! Seemed like there were plenty of SRT4's with stg. 4 BOV's trolling the mall too

Because you cant make a Scion fast

We own Subarus because they set us apart, handlind, speed, then looks.

They DO put us in another class compared to the common car I've had 1 person in 2 months want to go against me, but at least a dozen that'll see me on the highway, go play nascar to catch up, and then go...oh....well......nvm.............kthxBYE!!! *BRAKE* It's not like the SRT's or Evo's that get messed with daily. Hell the only other car that I've owned that caused that reaction was my Supra. Aaaaaaaah. Now I need to go drive

Talking Hello from a NAISOC/MAIC noob

Hey all,
I bought a 2008 impreza outback sport a few days ago and I love driving it. I'm posting here because I've been lurking on the forum for a little while and all you people seem like a really cool group. I was thinking about joining up with you guys for the meet in Arundel Mills next week, if thats ok.

So here's my story. I'm a noob to Subaru's, but not to working on cars at least. My high school ride was a Saab NG900 which I kinda riced out (I blame this on the fact that I was 16) well, it wasn't so bad... 17" rims, subwoofer & amp, underbody neons (whoops), stainless catback exhaust, etc. Anyway, the clutch blew after about 4 years of me beating on the poor car and I couldn't afford to replace it so I ended up with a sweet 1991 Volvo 940T wagon off craigslist for $1400. I had matured quite a bit at this point and all the work I did on the car was to keep it as reliable and as enjoyable to drive as possible. I upgraded the stereo headunit, repaired the sunroof, tailgate, and over the life of the car I replaced the radiator, starter motor, heater core (took FOREVER!), and some brake parts. Anyway that car served me really well but last week the transmission began to fail which lead me to finally pull the trigger on a new car.

Also, for the past 6 years or so I've been working on a 1973 VW dune buggy project, which had me doing all sorts of crazy things to that car, sadly I had to sell it recently because my new pad in Silver Spring doesn't have anywhere for me to keep or work on the project.

Anyway, that's a bit about me, I'm really excited to be joining such a cool and active car community!
