At the Track i'm disappointed because I expected more out of my wagon

I dont know if this is the right place for me to express my disappointment but I need to let it out and since I became a member of this site I've got nothing but support from everybodt here. last night I took my wagon to the tracks and expected to do a lot better then 14.286 @ 98.80 mph on my wagon, I can't believe I was driving an sti engine and doing the same time my friends were doing in their civic si and wrx, i know I need to tune my car but I don't know where to go if anyone know a good tunner in the tri-state please let me know cause I don't think that this is the time I deserve to make out of my wagon. here are some pics and specs of what I have.
time slip

a little about me and my wagon. For those of you who dont know, almost a year ago I bought a 2002 wrx automatic with 48k on it, the wagon was clean like a babys butt but I wanted more power but I didn't to cahnge my tranny to stick, along the process of looking and researching every website and everywhere I learned that STI swap was the way to go, I search everywhere for the engine and tranny with harness and the price were in the sky and that wasnt including labor plus the brakes and the dccd wich I learned about soon after I bought my car, so I decided to go to the auction and found a 2007 STI With only 7k on it the car was rolled over but none of the air bags were deployed I bought it for $9 and took it appart to put everything on my wagon and thats how I got a Complete 2007 Sti swap oh and for those of who keep asking why I did that for instead of fixing the STI I didn't a sedan I wanted a wagon. anybody can just go to a dealer and get an STI but STI wagon it's something you make and make you stand out everywhere you go. anyways my 2007 swap incl. complete harness from headlights to tail lights, trans, diff, eng, dccd, brembo fnt/rr complete suspention swap, plus some other minor mods like APS Fuel Rail, DeatshWerks Fuel Injectors 750cc, Denso High Flow Fuel Pump 255, Spt air intake, Borla XR-1 Catback Exhaust with Invidia Downpipe

Well your driving could use some improvement and technically speaking there is WAY to much going on there to expect good or bad times. Get it on a dyno, make sure everything is 100% mechanically sound, have it tuned if you wish, work on your driving, profit....

However major kudos for all the work you put into that thing. Thats not only a really nice looking wagon but it has (or will have) some nice power on a awesome platform.

+1 to you....btw I'm jealous of your wagon, I kick myself for not getting one!! And the flares...ugh I'm drooling here! Very nice!

I saw the flares but it didn't click that those aren't stock. I even have a wagon so you would think i would have noticed. You said you bought an 02, did you do a headlight swap as well?

Wagon look awesome.

Drop that 60' time down to around 1.8 and you're in the mid 13's. Power does seem to be a little down though without the tune. I would've expected the 1/8th mile traps to be in the 81-84 range. Sorry I can't give 1/4 estimates since there are more 1/8th mile tracks around her that I run at and have experience on. With a tune on what you have, high 12s to low 13's isn't gonna be too difficult.

Chris @ xxtuning/EFI logics is a really good tuner in CT. Lots of my friends have gone to him for tunes and are VERY happy. and I hear THESHOP in CT also has a good tuner. Good luck

14s isn't that bad for a full weaight wagon. Remember STi running gear is heavier then standard wrx and the wagon would add a little more compared to sedan.

Once you sort out your launch you should crack into the 13s.

One question though - why 750cc injectors? What turbo are you running?

Practice your launches in an empty parking lot somewhere. If you search around on here there are a ton of different opinions on what rpm to hold and launch at. Considering you have the full STI driveline you should be able to launch pretty hard and get your 60ft times down into the 1.7 range. Also, when you are watching the tree at the track leave when the second light turns yellow... That will get your reaction time down. Oh and very clean setup
