Exclamation Need Help Please!!

I have an 03 wrx with a 04ecu. I have to do my emissions by the end of Oct. and I am getting a CEL P1491, something to do with the PCV connector but the 03 does not have this sensor so does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Wasthe 04 ECU from a auto or manual trans? I know autos have a PVC value vs the manual don't. I'm not sure there is away around it, if it is hard wired into the ECU. That's just my guess though.

Looks like the computer needed to be connected to the PVC diagnostic connector in order to keep that code from appearing. It may be easiest to swap back your 03 computer if you still have it or you will need to do some wiring.

Pin 2 on the 24 pin ECU plug go to Pin 2 on the PCV Diag connector, pin 1 on the PCV Diag Conn goes to ground. I do not know if you can fool the ecu by using a resistor or it needs variable voltage to simulate operation.
