Default BBQ and Rally Catalunya mini meet at Sean's house on Sunday 03/24!

OK, this is the official announcement. BugGirl and I will be holding a mini meet BBQ and Rally Catalunya third leg screening at our house in Haverhill, MA (exit 50 or 51 off 495) if there is no ice race this Sunday. Stan hasn't posted anything to the BMWCCA list concerning the ice race yet so stay tuned to this thread to find out whether the BBQ is on or off.

Assume the festivities will start around noon on Sunday and will continue on through midnight for the third leg of Rally Catalunya in all of its digital glory! The only requirement is people who show up must bring something. Please RSVP and list what you'll be bringing. We'll supply the grill, dead cow, veggie burgers and hotdogs. We'll need soda, chips, buns, paper plates, etc.

Directions available at: http://www.trunkmonkeyracing.com/show.php?Article=20

The weather is supposed to be cold/fair so we'll more than likely be spending the afternoon indoors unless the sun pokes out. Rally Sweden, Rally Corsica and Rally Catalunya will be available on the DVR as well as wireless 802.11b internet access running on public network name freenet.trunkmonkey.com, so feel free to bring your laptops.

Also, ramps and tools will be available to anyone who needs them. The garage is a bit full and quite cold so you'll need to brave the outdoors. Also, we have limited guaranteed parking for 6 guest vehicles (four in the driveway and two in the street) so carpool if possible. There is plenty of street parking across the street and in a park down the street, but we're not in the best neighborhood.

Then again, if you park on the street, I guarantee some teeniebopper ass will touch your car!

Stan has officially announced that there is no ice race so the BBQ is definitely on.

Talking

Sweet!
Tasha and I will be making an appearance in the afternoon...
How does guacamole & chips sound? Sean do you plan on making regular network ports available to us non wireless, laptop toting web geeks? Maybe this time on my way home I won't get lost.
Thanks, were looking forward to meeting spike (your hedge hog).

Network ports will be available...I'll also have extra ORiNOCO wireless cards available if they're guaranteed to get returned. Guac and chips sounds good.

And Dustin, bring whatever...just post it here first.

Brian...maybe next time...

Sean -- I'll be there. Can you guarantee the teeniebopper asses? I hope so.

(I think I'll bring my car to the carwash and put some bling on it before come down for the BBQ.)

(Maybe I'll leave my phone number taped to the window for any teenieboppers who might want to call me.)

(Damn, I'm desperate. )

I guess we could keep the driveway clear for auto work. The lot down the street or along the curb should be ok for all the parking.

Puncture bit both Sean and I yesterday. Sean got the worst of it.

This is post #18 for me. YAY!

Puncture can be seen at:

http://www.trunkmonkeyracing.com/Scr...4-01-Puncture/

And yeah, a suspension swap should be no problem. We've got stands, tools and ramps. No need to clear the driveway as long as you're not blocking anyone in with no suspension.

Being a totaly newbie, and having not met anyone here yet, I'd like to stop by and meet some of you freaks, but I'm not %100. If I do stop by I'll probably bring beer, if that's ok with the host\hostess. Unfortunately I don't have internet access at home right now, so its probably gonna be a last minute type decision.

Hey feel free to stop by and bring whatever as long as you post it here. We're a fairly easy going and laid back group...we don't bite. Much. Not unless you ask us to. But yeah, stay a few minutes...stay the whole day. Whatever.

Are you the hostess?? I think you would be hot in a little pink ballet number (ok, maybe not, but I'd love to post that pic)!

But seriously, save 1 beer for the hostess (me, not Fishy), and I get to take advantage of anyone who gets drunk.

Hi Roger,

You'll be careful not to spill the oil this time, right?
