Subaru Stars Ver4 STi JDM Help...

So I here is where I'm at.. I've had a swap going on for a LONG while on on my 2001 Subaru RS, problem after problem, the shop I went to is at its final state of ATTEMPTING to complete the car. Here is the f@#* up they got the motor, and thought they were given the harness along with ECU, well NO Harness, and they are attempting to use the original EJ25, I know.. I know.. and I'll leave it at that..

I am asking for help if anyone can locate a harnesss, or if I should just have them put the car back to the original state. (car was running, it just needed a new ECU and Harness)

It always helps us when you completely fill out your profile so we know where you are? And if you don't mind telling us, what shop has your car? And if you do mind telling us, then you probably already know you picked a shop that is in over their heads, in which case I agree with Jaxx...

swap harness or STi harness. i have the rear portion that'd work for a wagon or sedan with rear wiper(from my V4 STi swap!).

i got it if you need it. just the rear section mind you!

meh .. if they even considered running it on the 2.5 ecu/harness they shouldn't attempt the merge

aka they have no idea what they are doing

and ej20k harness are not that easy to come by

wow!!! i guess you should not doing business with that shop anymore!

The is NO WAY ej20K will work with your stock harness and ecu!!

I have a harness here that i will probably never use,

It is cut after the ecu plug maybe 12 inches, But it is cplplets with all the plug and connector... would be kidda easy to make a good complete harness out of it for someone how have some experience in subaru wiring... ej20k are specialy VERY easy to do and merge in a stock harness hehe

I know them by heart, i have swap 5 ej20K in the last years!

if you need the harness, email me at: piouaille_fouette@hotmail.com

the only thing, i'm in québec , canada, so you will have to cover the shipping...!

Ok,
See your location is very relevant. Fineline Imports is in Santa Rosa. They may be able to get you a harness and/or swap it for you. Though if you've got the money I would take it to Adam @ LIC in Navato. He was with I-Speed when they started and one of the best swappers in the country. A google search will bring up both shops.
