Default winter proofing wheels diy

first off this is for people who dont want to destroy their wheels in the winter mnoths when salt corrodes and rust the back and inner wheel

1st. buy rubber dip or even better spray rubber dip or spray on bed liner and lots of masking tape

2nd. dismount wheels(optional)

3rd. mask the fron and side of the spokes...unless painting them all black or different color (spray on bed liner)

4th. clean very well

(optional. spray adhesion promoter)

5th. mask bolt holes

6th commence spraying on bed liner ot plstic dip in small coats... let it dry in between coats

7th. optional mask what was just painted with plastic dip or bed liner.. and spray clear on the front of the wheels(i used semi gloss on my car and a matte finnish on my buddies)

post pics a little later of mine

How hard is this to remove? If it involves sanding, I'd almost rather use steel wool, simple green and elbow grease to clean up the wheels after winter.
