Default Junior Tuned 06STI with FP20G

I finally got my car tuned by one of the best tuners i have come across. I want to give credit to Junior and Jimmy @ THE SHOP CT for doing a good job on my car yesterday. The car was in the dyno for about an hour. Final numbers were 360whp and 360wtq on 93 octane. I will like to post the graphs but don't know how to. The car runs like never before. It idles perfect and runs through the gear with ease. Car hits 22.5psi at 3400rpm and it tapers to 19psi. The list of mods is the following:

-FP TD06 20G with 8cm exhaust housing
-PE 850cc injectors
-Ebay TMIC
-APS 65mm CAI
-APS EL Headers
-APS 3" TBE catless
-SAMCO Inlet
-Hallman Manual boost controller
-Walboro fuel pump
-one step colder ngk iridium plugs

The tune is very conservative. I think we could of gotten higher numbers but i wanted a safe tune. I'm going to install the SMC methanol kit in the spring to make some more power safely.

Judging by your TQ numbers I bet that stock TMIC was killing you power up top. That and 91 octane. This car was on 93 and had an upgraded TMIC. No heat soak.

Default Thanks guys!!

Junior the VIN# is JF1GD70686L512599. The car is fun to drive a lot of fun actually. I will be turning the boost down a bit because I got a High input MAF voltage cell on a 4th gear pull earlier tonight. On Romraider I'm logging 23 psi. Junior let me know if i should increase my g/s for those voltages or what needs to be done to avoid that cell.

toutanje "Congrats, hope you enjoy the new setup! Also how do you like having that EL header on?"

I like the EL Headers a lot. It takes away the boxer rumble but i think it helps the turbo spool a lot. 22.5 psi by 3400 rpm is pretty good. The only problem is avoiding the APS EL from cracking. Already cracked twice before but i guess the last welder added enough weld material to avoid them from cracking again.

not so much killing it up top but i was happy with the way it turned out car feels super good. but im now changing my setup this week. going rotated with a custom harman motive gt28rs kit perrin fmic perrin injectors etc.. and going back to iwg. so we'll see how that turns out, i know im probably going to go with a 30r or 35r soon after. but thats the good thing about going roatated i can always just upgrade the turbo and it's so much easier to work on the car.

First, you're probably maxing the romraider Man Rel Press reading. Try logging Man Abs Press instead and do MAP-ATM = MRP. Just get the atmospheric pressure from romraider before or after you do the run.

I have the AEM MAP sensor in my WRX and it still pegs the MRP in romraider, this is just a limitation in romraider and really doesnt have anything to do with the sensors. However the MAP reading works like its supposed to.

Regarding the MAF CEL. You cant simply just raise the MAF, that will just cause you to run richer.

You can trick the ECU to read lower by changing the injector scalar and the MAF.

IMO, the best solution is to upgrade to the 70mm. Not a very expensive deal...you should be able to sell your 65mm for a good amount. Then you wont have to play any tricks and you will have room for a race gas tune.
