I want to go stage 2 with an AccesPORT within the next few months and I am looking for some good, reputable shops to get my tuning done at in the Bay Area. I would like to know experiences that you guys have had at these shops and if they do a good job or not. Driving is not too big of a deal as long as its not too ridiculously far and they do a good job.

Also, what kind of prices should I be looking at for getting a stage 2 tune?

Thanks.

AUTO HQ is by far the very best IMO. They have Shiggy from ZeroSports Japan Tuning down there until the 14th.

I guess I will be going to GST then, it sounds like a lot of people on here really like them. Any idea what kind of price I would be looking at for a stage 2 tune?

Is it really useful to get more that one MAP? They charge 350 for the one MAP then 150 for every additional one.

If you plan on drag or track the car, it wouldn't hurt to get an additional "high octane" map

So would that be for doing a track day/autocross or something like that? I dont really every plan on doing something like that, I just want a good daily driver with some more power...so I think i will just go with the one map.

I do know a guy that goes to my gym who got tuned in Freemont or something like that and they set him up with 3 maps. Ill see what the name of his shop was and how much they charged him for that.
