Default New personal best at PMP today, 11.290 @ 121.87

After breaking a "600 hp" Drive Shaft Shop rear axle last week at the Trick or Treat drags on my very first run, Scuba_Steve let me use one of his axles to try it again today. Decided to run out of the groove, and hope the BFG drag radials would hook. Well they did, and I ran a new personal best of 11.290 @ 121.87. The track is at 4600' ASL, and it was 80 degrees today. Did not get a density altitude.

HUGE thanks to Scuba_Steve for all your help!! Could not have dont it with out you man. Thanks to all the guys at Revolutions Performance for the killer engine build. Servion Tuning for the awesome tune. Jim for making it look so good.

Here is the vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LTeE6dawZE

It was a bitter sweet run. I missed 5th gear on this run, actually I missed it on all 3 runs today. It flat would not go it smoothly. Gonna try some of the Subaru Extra-S gear oil, and see if that will hellp. I trapped 104 in the 1/8th and only 122 in the 1/4. It should have trapped 128 to 130, and who knows how much lower the ET would have been.

Mods are

www.revolutionsperformance.com assembled long block. Pauter rods, 9.5:1 coated CP pistons, ACL Race bearings, Kelford 272/272 cams, 1mm oversized valves, Ultimate Racing GT-35R Kit, APS 525 FMIC core with Revolutions custom counterclockwise flow piping, AEM standalone tuned by www.serviontuning.com , stock exhaust header, 1100 cc top feeds running 95% duty cycle (E-85 ).

Car made 506 whp on a dyno dynamics dyno at 24 psi absolute

I didn't even know dss made 600hp axles. I saw the 500hp and the full blown 1000hp ones.

Good job man, Your 60' was amazing, my dad says thats what 1000 cc sportbikes should run. your trap should have been more, yesterday I just got a 119 trap w/a 12.002, my best run was a 11.9 a/ 117.89, my 1/8 was a 7.729 @ 93.81mph this is on a 30r stock clutch and block, you definetely have lower times in your set-up, wasnt seeing your altitude til now thats a great run for 4600ft.
