Hehe...The 1 series. You either love em or hate em. Its a great driver though, 300hp twin turbo I-6 and fit 'n finish is a lot better than the 08 STI I test drove.

And how do you think the handling compares to say an Sti? Ive been wanting to ask someone what they think id appreciate it

People say the GD's have a better chassis and handling. But I cant say I totally agree. My car with its shorter wheelbase + lighter weight has a real advantage in AutoX and I've pulled better times than newer STI's and Evos and Im running KYBs with ****ty springs.
Now about getting one. I think unless your lucky and find one already built like herewego did, be ready to spend a lot of $$$. Like in the 12-15k range for just the conversion. not to mention finding an RS, hopefully one with good suspension already on it. I bought my car new so I started from scratch. A stock RS is a looong ways away from handling like an STI.

Thanks for the input... I was planning on buying one with the engine already swapped thats all i really care about... as long as it passes smog. Im happy to do most of the modding my self i just wont have the time/another car to drive to swap it myself. Monkeyballz rsti that he just sold wuld have been perfect for me but the time is not right now as i would have had to sell my car realy soon. Hopefully i will find someone in the next year or so who wants to get rid of one

Just got these puppies in today. Im still waiting for some STI lateral/trailing links to come in as well. Hopefully I can pull some better times at the AutoX after everything's installed

P.S. anyone know what camber plates would work with these???

You're right...I had the same thoughts later on. Im sure they wouldnt have been able to drive the car. They were like 14-15..Plus how are the cops going the find a suspect(s) described as black, male juvenile w/ short dreads, wearing a white T-shirt and hoodie in Oakland??? That's like finding a needle in a stack of needles. Thanks
