Default How long is the line at your Starbucks place?

I stopped in for a free iced coffee (show them your "i voted" sticker), this morning, and the line was only 5 people deep. Around lunch, I saw that same line stretch to 30+ people, as more had been able to vote.

I haven't had starbucks coffee in about a year. It'll probably be about that long before I return.

The Starbucks I go to every morning in the building I work usually has 2-3 ahead of me in line but since it's been cold here (cold for Cali standards) its like 5-6 ahead of me.

Same thing with Ben&Jerry's scoop shops. They had the same idea, but ran into the same problem.
So its also free scoop day today.

Do you have to vote for Obama to get the free Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's?

Other freebies like sex toys!

Voters offered free coffee, ice cream, bubbly, sex toys

If the contest between Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama wasn't enough to get you to brave long lines at the polls, how about the prospect of free products?

These are some of the freebies that companies are offering customers who participate in the electoral process:

• Ben & Jerry's will give voters free ice cream.
• Starbucks will give voters a free small coffee.
• Krispy Kreme will give voters a free "star shaped doughnut with patriotic sprinkles."
• Todd Conner's, a bar in Baltimore, will give voters a free beer.
• Shane's Rib Shack will give voters a free "Vote America meal," which consists of chicken tenders and a beverage.
• Anaheim White House, a restaurant in California, will give voters a free bottle of champagne, according to the Orange County Register.
• Zoo Atlanta is cutting admission prices for voters and their families, according to WXIA-TV.

Finally, an adult store is giving away sex toys that we can't describe in any detail.

“We’re expecting a good response,” Pamela Doan, a Babeland spokeswoman, tells MSNBC. “Both of these toys are very popular. The Maverick retails for $20 and the Silver Bullet retails for $15. It’s a good reward.”

Did we miss any of the election-related freebies? If so, send a note to ondeadline@usatoday.com.

Update at 11:39 a.m. ET: Thanks to reader Thomas P. for pointing out that some Chick-fil-A franchises are giving free chicken sandwiches to customers who wear an "I voted" sticker into the restaurant.

The Vindicator says one of the chain's restaurants in Boardman, Ohio, will give away free chicken sandwiches to customers who turn in "expired campaign signs from their yards" on the day after the election.
