Default Got my N1 Pully set today!

I got my N1 Pully set today! I have already weighed them and it is:

Crank: 1Lb 2.4 oz
Powersteering: 6.7oz
Alternator: 2.8oz

Now I do not have them installed as of yet but hopefully I can get them on here soon.

I do have a picture of them though here:

http://www.alaska.net/~mgonnaso/pullies.JPG

I will update this post as soon as I get them on...

No way to measure the difference though...

Did you get those from Suby Sport? I have a three pulley set just like that on my car from them, it works great. Had the single UR pulley, and took it off w/in a week due to too much torque loss. Not an issue with the 3 pulley set, helps from idle to redline...

Frankly i think the pulleys work great. They really help with pulling up to redline faster and are great for throttle response. In fact I have to break myself of the habit of revving up to 5000 rpm before doing my shifts just because its too easy

Not really all the much difference between underdrive and lightened. With underdrive you generally get only 1 pully. And you als get a new set of belts because your stock ones will not fit anymore.

I myself would like using the stock sized belts, that is one of the reasons I have decided on the N1 pullies.

Ok...so were'd you buy them from and how much did they set you back? I'd sure like to swap out mine. I've heard that it's pretty straight forward except that the stock pully bolts are practically welded on. Were you able to swap them yourself? Or did you need to take it to a shop?

I bought mine used from a guy here on i-club. But you can but them from imprezars.com ( that is the set that I have) for around 250 I think. Suby Sports also sells the same set I belive...

I am going to be installing them tonight so we shall see how that goes. I shall keep ya updated!

Getting an UD crank pully along with two lightened pullys is just a little better than 3 lightened stock sized pullys. Most of the gain is from the loss in weight.

With the single crank pulley (UR) , you lose torque because it's smaller...

The three pulley set works better all around.
