Default lost my rays lock key. how do i get the lock off? help me please!!!

ok guys so i had my tires rotated at a shop a few weeks back and they lost my key. im going rotated on thursday so i need to take my front wheels off to instiall the fmic, but do not have the key. the shop sent out my lug lock to rays to have them send out a new key but it's been 2 weeks and still no key and i need to take them off on thursday, but dont want to ruin the locks. does anyone know of a way to take these rays locks off without the key? someone i know said i can use a deep socket that was an odd size like a 21 mm or something. does anyone know if that would work? or any other suggestions?

i lost my key to my rays on my 350z a few months back and called the rays company here in the U.S. I can't remember the number but I think it was Mackin Industries and just described the lugs I had and he was able to locate one of their dealers that sells them and gave me their phone number. I called and asked for a specific person that the person from Mackin told me to ask for, paid about 25 bucks and had my lock in a few days...I hope that will help

Just because it was sold on an infomercial doesn't mean it is junk. Other than a replacement key I guarantee it's the only way to get the lugs off without damaging the finish (assuming it fits in your wheels)

lol

Edit: You better bring some replacement lugs with you incase they destroy the Rays during removal.

The gator grip will work as long as it is big enough and it doesn't break. If the nuts are super tight, it might not make it. Gatorgrip actually works for light jobs pretty well.

harbor freight has lug nut removers. They work pretty darn well too.

I would post a pic of the lug in the SCIC and see if anyone local has the one/key you are looking for. This is if you are short on time and don't want to damage the lug.

I'm sure thieves have never seen them before I hope you don't think wheel locks are anything more than dressup or a deterrent for only the laziest of thieves. If someone wants your wheels bad enough they're gonna take them.
