Default 2008 WRX Fitment issues

Ok i have 18'' Axis Reverb 42+mm Offset 7.5'' rims. I have 245/40/18 tires mounted on them now. Now my 2008 WRX Hatch is lowered about 1.75''-2'' with cobb springs but plan on switching over to coilovers soon. the 245/40 tires now rub the lip on the inner fenders when i hit bumps or take turns fast. What tire would you guys recommend so it thinner so it tucks up nice but not look stupid.

What are your camber specs? That has alot to do with it. You could dial in some negative that would help your handling and also allow some more clearance. If you are going to coilovers I wouldn't worry about it yet. Unless you absolutely need it fixed asap. Also you can always get your fenders rolled.
