Default How to do 136 in a 55 and get away ticket free...

Be a cop.

My friend who is a cop got caught doing 136 in a 55 on 84 in CT, and told the officer that he just modded his car and wanted to hear how it sounded and felt at that speed. He just told him to have a nice day. And yes he drives a Subaru!!

And if I'm not mistaken, no state reciprocates points on your license, so even if he did get a ticket, all he'd have to do is pay a fine, and possibly not be able to drive in CT for X days.

Must be nice to be a cop and have diplomatic immunity

Another way to get out of a ticket, I heard, was to carry around an empty inhaler. When the cop comes to your window tell him you were rushing home to get more medicine.

or you could say you were rushing to go to the bathroom, and if he wont believe you, just poop right there. This should only be done in cases where jailtime and revoking of license could be a punishment, but any cop with a heart will let you go after you poop in your car to get out of a ticket. Oh and BTW, Keith is ugly and he smells like he pooped himself all the time.

I am sure ppl will flame me for saying this, but...

am I the only one who thinks this kind of stuff is the ultimate BS? Friend at work who rides a crotchrocket told me the same thing...he only rides with cop friends, because then they can blast up and down the ACX doing 120+ with no regards to the law.

No regard for the law that is the SAME law that they swore to uphold. :/ But if I did what this jackoff did, they would RodneyKing me on the side of the road in CT, and I would definitely lose my license for quite some time (and everyone on iclub would say I was an idiot for going so fast on the street, and to take it to the track). Guess you all are OK with that. We should all become 'the hero' police, so that we no longer have to regard the law, because we are ABOVE the law.

Go ahead, let the flaming begin. And if Mr. Officer reads this, I sure hope you don't kill ma and pa in the old Buick who are obeying the law when you decide to test out your new wheels on the family truckster by doing 136mph.

Hey ForceFed,
I 100% agree with everything you just said. I am not agreeing that what these officers do is right, just amusing.

Keep it safe

Savka, I'm 99% sure about other states not reciprocating any license points with NY state.

Default Points Followed Me!

I have an NJ license and got two tickets in NY, both 2 point speeding tickets and those points followed me and are on my license right now... so i don't know what you guys are talking about.

I haven't dealt with DMV stuff in a while, but if I remember correctly, NYS has a reciprocity agreement with NJ, PA and the Canadian province of Quebec.

It goes someways and not others. From Jersey, get a ticket most anywhere, you are srewed. From Pa get a ticket in Jersey, Ha laugh and pay - insurance will NEVER find out. I should know, in the 6-years I've gone to school in NJ I've gotten ~10-15 moving violations. Not one showed up on my insurance. This included a 12pt incident on the NJTP with a rather grumpy officer and a stupid wise-ass (then) 18 year old me.

Long Live PA
