Default what is the best lowering spring?

well i just bought my wrx and wanted to know what people think is the best spring for the wrx? i previously had a lowered maxima with ground control coilovers using eibach springs and tokico shocks (non-adjustable). this combination made the ride very harsh. i could feel every little bump. i want to try to avoid this so here are my questions:

1. will coilovers give you a harsher ride compared to set springs?
2. if so, which spring has the best feel as the stock suspension?

i basically want a lowered look and performance but a ride exactly like stock. anyone got suggestions?

For coilovers you can try DMS.

For just springs I hear H&R are pretty good..
