Default Avic-F90BT for $520

Hey I just bought my F90BT for what I think is a great price ($520), and I figgured I would just share with everyone how to get the price in case anyone is interested in getting one. Live.com has a cashback program where you can get 25% off buy it now items on ebay.

1) create ebay account
2) create paypal account
3) create live.com account
4) search live.com for "avic". you should get an ad at the top of the search listings for ebay that says "Buy Avic. You may get 25% off with paypal if eligible"
5) click the ad to take you to ebay
6) select one of the "buy it now" results
7) buy the item with your paypal account. make sure it has the icon for "Microsoft cashback" on the page.
you should get a message in your ebay message center with a link for you to click for your cashback. click the link
9) the link prompts you to sign in to live.com cashback account or create one. you can create one if you haven't already. a few hours later, you'll see the cashback show up as pending in your account.

To be eligible, I believe you must have clicked through from live.com. you can't just search ebay or use any ebay listing. I've only seen the 25% discounts, but you are very close to the limit of $200 with that anyway. I got $177 off mine.

I hope some of you take advantage of this great offer.

Chris

I've used the 30% on my new Callaway clubs, and I love the program. Keep in mind you have to read all the rules to make sure your purchase qualifies, and that it takes 60 days for the refund to become available. After that, it was another 2 weeks before it appeared in my PayPal account...BUT well worth the wait in my opinion.

In case someone's wanting the F90BT, I found a Buy It Now auction on eBay that's at $649.99, free shipping, and no tax. That comes out to $487.49 after Microsoft cashback! 10 available at the moment.

I trust you guys but any proof without going through the process?

No need for a new PayPal account. You can actually associate the MS cashback with your bank account or get a check mailed to you, too.

FYI, I purchased OneBadSS's F90BT yesterday through eBay and my cashback appeared as "pending" today.

Hey guys!

I just picked up an 08 STI, and I'm wondering if the 700BT or 90BT Pioneer units will integrate with the steering-wheel controls on my car? I'd like to be able to adjust volume, change tracks, mute etc from my steering wheel.

Any help greatly appreciated, as I'm buying it tomorrow if so!!

YES! BUT, you have to buy an aftermarket part to send the signal to the new HU. I believe this may work, if someone can confirm:

For those who were wondering, I have received cash back already through this program. I purchased all new Callaway clubs over the summer using the Live.com offer (it was 35% at the time). I made sure to read all the rules thoroughly, and patiently waited for my refund without a hitch. I have heard of people being denied, but usually because they didn't fully read or violated the rules.

Can someone try this right now and see if they can find the Avic-F700bt on Ebay anymore? I've tried but it might not give me the same results as I am in Canada. Thanks.

Actually just called a family member in Florida and they see the ebay link. Guess they know my location so it doesn't show. Can someone check to see if the Kenwood DNX5120 is eligible for Microsoft cashback?

It is. Strangely, I had to search for "kenwood" through MS Live! multiple times before it would give me an eligible eBay link. "Kenwood DNX5120" through Live! doesn't seem to work.

Once in eBay with MS cashback active, I performed a new search for "Kenwood DNX5120". The MS cashback notification remains active.
