Why would you clean a wheel with a steam cleaner? A pressure washer does pretty good. But nothing beats car soap and elbow grease.

Nothing beats a proper wheel cleaner with a wheel brush

read up in the detail section and check out some of the products the vendor sells in there

this stuff doesnt strip paint, it only takes the brakes dust off

I've used a steam cleaner before on my wheels. It works alright, and didn't hurt the wheel's finish. The only problem is that the brake dust seemed to just wash off of where I was steaming, and stick somewhere else. I still had to break out the soap and water to get the wheels really clean. But it did work great for cleaning out little niches and crevices that you otherwise wouldn't be able to get to.

Spray with water and then some degreaser. Wipe, wipe, wipe (w/ a microfibre). Rinse with soapy water and go over missed areas. Rinse again and dry! Have fun.
