Post Any hear anything about the dent removal?

Hello,
Has anyone gotten any news on trying to set up the Dent wizard group by? I've been coming online sporatically from school and checked a few days back in posts but haven't seen anything new. I'm hoping I didn't miss it. Any info would be appreciated.

I was the one looking into it, I can arange it but I got very little feed back and therefore nothing has really become of it. If there is enough of an intrest for me to get about ten people give or take a few I will arange a time. If just you want to do it I can see if I can pull strings for an idividual discount.

I have two cars that can use a lot of dent removing. Only consideration is I'm two hours away from civilization...

I'm interested, I've got only one car that needs some fixin...a 98 OBS.

Will the price be less the more people that get in on the deal? There are a ton of hail dings all over my car, so it would be hard to pick which panel needs it the most!

Wel right now the price is looking to be 50 dollars a pannel but sometimes they will help you out take out a couple small ones out of other panles at no additional cost. It seems to me that the main calling is for the dent removal and not the Blend Teck paint guys so it would make the event easier to arange I will look into it further. What day or days would be good for most people?

Saturday would be best case scenario, but I'm pretty flexible any other days. Where exactly would they be doing this? I work in North Andover, so I'm just curious how long it would take to get there...

hey all

just talked to the autobody store here in the boston area. i'm getting my trunk fixed and wanted to see if they could they could do the non-invasive dent repair. they sed no.

when i asked why they didn't do it anymore, they sed the flex, and re-flex of the metal will look okay for about 6 months, but the micro stresses in the paint from the ding and repair eventually cause the area to chip.

when they do pop out a small ding, they recommend sanding and repainting to ensure no cracking.

i wanted to get this stuff done, but now not sure...anyone have long term experience with this kind of repair?

Shuman, that is an excellent point. I really am not an expert, but I know many dealers and some body shops use this method. I think the concerns that you brought up are true, but I also think it depends on how deep/bad the dent is. I have one on my car now, right on the front fender, which effects the body line. I think I might be worried about having it fixed without painting.

Good questions to ask these people before that start hammering away.

Hello,
Sat would be the best for me. My girlfriend lives in Salem mass so I am in the area every weekend. But the sooner the better since the kid who ran into me is paying for them.

OKAY it is after winter ... i think

many of us have had winter incidents be it a door ding, a ripple from a snow bank, blah blah blah.

i know i want my minor door ding and roof ding about the same size. ( quarter sized ) GONE.

i have read all of the posts in nesic for dent wizard.

some of you have had great results and some of you have said "let's wait for the spring"

so if joshua can still hook up a group dent removal i for one would back him 100%

anyone else wanna but the BL back in *BLING* for the spring?
