Talking Toan at Ptuning 08 Forester 08 XT, Vf43

I can't tell you how happy I am with what Toan at Ptuning.com. The car feels like a brand new car. She pulls ridiculously hard. This is a retune from a EWG install. One hell of a fast box.

I'm glad you like the tune, but personally, if my tuner LOST 300 rpm spool after an EWG install, i'd be a bit purturbed.

Am i missing something? Maybe it's something not seen on the street. Sorry. I know the runs start about 50-75 rpm different but does that account for the variance?

Great numbers none the less though man.

Nice, always got to be one that puts the hate out there. Toan did mention the spool up, that was going to be addressed after he went out to Sema to to speak directly with Cobb. I honestly could not feel a difference, but he wants to bring her back in to work with her more to address that, which he believes to be the avsc. Something he did not touch, until he speaks with Cobb, which I can respect being a new tuner platform for them. I can assure you that she is a completely different car from my original tune. I would love to give you a ride, and see what comments would be after.

The numbers do as you pointed out, do speak for itself. She base lined on the previous tune at 253, and running almost in the 9s A/F. I think he made a dramatic improvement with her jumping up to 276, including more torque at the same time keeping her safe.

Thanks to the rest for the support.

UUUUHHHHG. Not what i was doing. Thought it was odd to lose spool over the baseline, was just looking for an explaination, like blown gasket, forgot the fire ring in the wastegate etc. etc. W/E

Looks good DJ. There is always enough hate to go around on NASIOC. I figure you would be immune to it by now.Its good to see gains throughout the powerband. If you don't mind me asking, who tuned it originally?

i may be a little confused but losing 300rpm of spool would be a concern of mine. I guess people cant ask legitimate questions around here anymore.Good numbers though.

He got an legitimate answer but he was certainly being a tool in the way he asked. Is all good my brother, I'm glad there is such a concern on the etiquette of posting on nasioc. We seem to forgetting my gains were great. All with non power adders, just a good tune and ewg. Again the 300 was from the avsc not being touched, which will be worked on later.
