After talking with the shipping guy and measuring the lip for packaging we have figured out that we have no way to safely ship the lip. If we Frankenstein'ed a box together there would be too must risk of damage to the lip and UPS would not pay any claim for damage if we didn't use what they would deem acceptable packaging. I really wish we could ship it because it most likely means the lip is going to sit here for a long time waiting the the right local guy to stop by and see it.
