Question HKS turbo timer problem

unit: HKS Turbo Timer Type-1 special edition, HKS ignition harnest
car: wrx 2002

Problem: when i turn off the car, the TT isn't staying on to run the car after i remove the key from the ignition, the TT would work here and there but not consistently.

I followed the HKS install instructions connecting the two wires to the OEM ECU and the grey wire to the pink wire connected to the emergancy break.

(would holding up the ebreak to the frist click while driving mess with the TT?) the reason why i did this, is because i use to have HID and i didnt want it to run while it was during day time.

but yeah, everything was connected according to spec. including the grey segment that about 3 inchs long with a male and female end.

also is there any way to have the TT run without the acessory items running ie. ac, radio, etc. and have the oem alarm work.

thanks.
