Or a high reading dyno. I don't think I've seen a 91 octane 30R make over 400whp but whatever. Congrats on your new power.

Its definetely true and its not a high reading dyno, The map is not conservative obviously, and wont be used all the time, I have 3 pump gas maps to choose from so, this is only on rare occasion. This dyno reads imbetween a dynojet and a mustang dyno. Thanks for the support

I think you need to reread the first post. That was on C-16. You do know what C-16 is right?

really? It seems a lot of people not only in the Subaru world, but the EVO and DSM world do 23+ psi on 91 pump on the bigger turbos and with fmic, the OP already mentioned he has a more conservative tune that makes 30 less whp.

I mean let's not forget that on 91+meth most of us do 23-25 psi while some crazy evo guys do 30 psi

yea I think he didnt get that part either, C-16 = 117 oct, 13.50 per gallon

I have a map for:

C-16 @ 27psi makes 484/496
110 leaded @ 27 makes 450
C-16-110 conservative @ 24 (c-16 made 425/397
91 oct @ 23psi made 394/374
91 oct (safer map made 365whp
91 oct old super safe map @ 19psi made 340/354

so again I have a few to choose from, and I know people are going to ask, Im not sure why or how I can safely run 110 leaded or C-16 on the same 24 psi map, I was just told it will be fine.

ehhhh... no I wouldnt say that's right. There are not a lot of people running 23psi on these size turbos in a subaru with just 91 octane.

Is it possible? maybe with very low timing and drownding in fuel. .. but that's not going to make 400whp.

Fine and safe? Very aggressive? That doesn't begin to make sense.

You also see where it says used on very rare occasion, Do you not consider few amount of times with an aggressive tune, safe if I dont use it hard all the time or very often, I stand by Jon, he's taking care of me since I first met him, the tune's fine

Why are you arguing with what numbers he got. He posted the dyno numbers and the tune. Who cares what dyno and what other cars posted. He made good numbers. You can't argue with it.

OP, just take it to the track and prove these bitches wrong.

Yeah op that graph is sweet alot of people are jealous...I love when that happens. Get it to the track and surprise some people there have fun... Yes it can be aggressive and safe. It won't be conservative, but if its aggressive and it's not knocking and serving its purpose I would call it aggressive but safe....Right on.
