while i completely agree that it would be limited even on E85 with the stock TMIC, a TRUE 350wtq is definitely a possible number even with the restriction.

I would like to stay TMIC, however, FMIC is acceptable if it helps keep the cost down.

my guess would be around 450whp. your turbo is definitely capable of your power goal. the 90oct is the only thing that might hold you back. just have to wait and see if the meth/water mix is enough to make up for it.

^That's what I was hoping for. I realize the 90oct was a problem but it's all we have at the moment. I'm keeping my finger crossed that we can get something else available that's better.

Default Hp?

So, when you ask "what do I need to hit 350ishhp" you need to give us the following information

1. HP at the WHEELS -WHP

2. What type of dyno are you going to be shooting for this number on? Dynojet

3. If possible, tell us what shop it is. Someone may know how high or low that particular dyno reads. P&L

4. Where do you live? If not a well known city, what is the elevation?
Wisconsin

5. What kind of gas will you be using? (octane level) one map for 91 Oct. and one map for E85

6. Are you opposed to a FMIC? I have a Spearco TMIC

Car-2005 STi

I have; Grimmspeed uppipe 38mm EWG, Warlbro 255, catless DP, Cobb catback, injen CAI, Spearco TMIC, Cobb AP, Perrin turbo inlet working on injectors

350whp shouldn't be a problem for you on a dynojet...especially with E85...dynojets tend to read pretty high so...my guess would be that you come close to or hit your goal with both the 91oct and E85 maps

You will not hit your goal. You need a bigger turbo and supporting mods. The vf39 is not capable of hitting that.

^ on E85 you will hit your power goal for sure, but on 93oct you will just barely hit or miss it. most the similar setups to yours i have tuned on 93oct are putting down just under or just over 300whp.

Thanks, I've been told that I should hit my goals on e85 but there were a lot of people saying different things. I wanted to try and confirm that it will. I really do not mind what 93 puts down since that will be my tune for long trips. e85 will be for the track, DD, and local meets

Ordered most of my parts for that build, just have to buy injectors, wideband, and TMIC then get everything tuned.

You're gonna need something larger. IAG's dyno reads low and 4EAT transmissions make less power.

What if I went with a gt30, maybe some 850cc injectors, and a fmic?

You will considerably overshoot your goal and what your stock motor can handle.

Hey guys, I posted this earlier in this thread, but I'm thinking about going FMIC now. The Racer X and FMS FMIC's look good, but I want some other opinions on them with my setup that I mention above.
