It's hard for me to believe a new tmic and manifold are needed if you're sticking with the stock turbo and looking for ~300 hp, IDK if they want to sell parts or if if there's really a big diff in pressure drop and intake air temps?

In any case, I'm looking for the same, but I'd be ok w ~275 hp... should be possible w/ TBE, intake and tune I'm thinking? I def. was not planning on needing a larger tmic/manifold. I'd also like to find a tuner that will do opensource, as it's not likely I'll want to make changes later on. It's my DD and I want it to be safe, reliable and quiet.

1. HP at the WHEELS (whp) or hp at the CRANK (chp)?
Hoping to reach around 320-330whp

2. What type of dyno are you going to be shooting for this number on?
N/A
3. If possible, tell us what shop it is. Someone may know how high or low that particular dyno reads.
N/A
4. Where do you live? If not a well known city, what is the elevation?
Toledo, OH. Flat as a pancake.
5. What kind of gas will you be using? (octane level)
93
6. Are you opposed to a FMIC?
Yes, I want to keep using a TMIC.

Power Mods:
Cobb TBE
Cobb AP
VF39
STI TMIC
Cobb SF intake & box
Walbro fuel pump
Perrin Lightweight Crank Pulley

What other mods will give me more whp aside from using E85? Thinking of P&P headers and getting Uppipe; will EWG help me get there or is not worth it? I want to stick to my turbo as well. Thanks.

I don't think you would need much... maybe just a good protune.

Ok, I have been thinking about it and since I don't have e-85 near me here are my plans...

Element tuning in MD.

2012 WRX
Invidia catless 3" DP
Aquamist system 50/50 meth water mix. Should keep the engine nice and cool and maybe keep the engine a little safer?
Obviously the protune

Any number ideas on that?

On e85 you might get close but the VF43 will be your restriction.

I have all those parts and a few more and made 345whp and 380wtq on e85 and 19psi boost. You will need a bigger turbo and intercooler to get near 400 for sure.

I know I'll go with IAG's rotated kit, but I'm not sure which turbo to go with. I'm also not sure what supporting mods I'll need, in addition to the rotated kit. Hopefully you guys can help.

Tuning a car always seems to transform "I can make it more powerful..." into "it's not powerful enough".

Even if I owned a GTR, I'd still run off and get it tuned and try to get whatever cheap, easy gains that I could.

Okay guys, I am nearing the end of swapping my 98RS, I have a 02 WRX ej205 that's off at the machine shop right now, my question is *about* what numbers can I expect, and what will be holding my back from reaching greater numbers?

Setup:
- EJ205 bored .5mm over
- Wiseco 92.5mm pistons, sti rods, acl race bearings
- Full 3" catless turbo back exhaust
- Megan racing UEL header with catless uppipe
- SPT CAI
- Deleted TGV's
- Godspeed TD05 20G
- Walbro 255
- WRX Modified injectors (around 740cc?)
- LW flywheel
- Cobb access port pro tuned around 20lbs
- 1 Step colder plugs
- 92 Octane
- CX Racing FMIC

Looking for a whp, on a mustang dyno (outback auto).
It will be dyno'd in about 3 months (80ish degrees) in auburn wa 250ft above sea level

I am planning to get a few more things for my car and I would like to know around what numbers I would be making.

It is a 2004 wrx. Automatic

-20G turbo
-Turbo inlet
-Cobb SF intake
-750cc injectors
-Walbro 255lph fuel pump
-Big TMIC
-Equal length headers
-Uppipe
-Tial 38mm ewg
-Catless downpipe
-CBE

My car will be tuned by open source on a dynapack dyno at TurboXS

Default couple questions...

Going to be finishing up a few installs by the end of July, and the car is going on a Mustang All Wheel Drive 500SE @ EFI Logics in Bethel, CT (~800' above sea level).

STi Ver. IV gear box is going in first along with a '01 STi 4.44 R160 LSD.

have but not installed:

Blouch 1.5XT-R (8cm) 2.4" inlet -uncoated/unported
JDM VI TGV(s) deletes (no phenlonic spacers)
DW1000cc injectors

Already have installed:

Hybrid built motor
99.5mm 8.2 compression pistons
Rebuilt/ported @ Larry's in Groton, CT stock 2.0l heads
full 3" turboback exhaust
FMS TMIC (I know I will suffer some loss, but I loathe FMIC set ups)
VF22
DW650cc injectors
Walbro 255lph pump
Stock intake and inlet
Stock fuel rails
Stock MAF
Mishimoto radiator
160deg thermostat
Think that's it lol

Question isn't really geared towards how much HP/TQ will I make but if this is an ok set up or if I should be looking to get something else (i.e. updated fuel rails, intake, etc) for reliability's sake? Maybe 2.0l AVCS? Cams?

Engine is healthy; no weird unidentifiable noises, just had a fresh tune up: new belts & pullies (timing, PS, A/C, Alt), plugs, cleaned the K&N filter, cleaned up the MAF sensor, new EJ257 exhaust manifold, new uppipe, new 02/AFR sensors, upgraded brakes/lines, fuel filter, new knock sensor...engine coolant flush, and maybe something else I am forgetting...OH oil change too!!

But I am curious though what I'll be looking at with this set up??!

Thanks in advance!!
