Default Putting studs on used snow tires ?

This may be a dumb question, but let me give it a shot

Not sure if anyone tried, but is it even possible to put studs on used snow studdable tires? I may pick up a set of snow tires with ~5k miles, but I wonder if it is possible to stud them (Hakka 2). Thanks.

Generally you can only put studs in brand new tires. Once the stud holes get dirt and road grease in them the studs won't stay in for long. That doesn't stop you from putting some in and seeing how long they last.
