Default Greened Hybrid Tuned by HB Speed

350 whp, 318 ft lbs on 91 oct
378 whp, 355 ft lbs on 100 oct
Mod list:
STI 2.5 block & crank
Eagle rods
Cosworth bearings
Forged pistons by TechWorks Eng (static comp 8.3-1)
Mildly ported WRX heads
Crower stage 1 cams
ARP head studs
Cosworth head gaskets
Vishnu TMIC
Crawford air/oil separator
KS Tech 73mm MAF and CAI
TXS external waste gate up pipe
Tial 44mm gate
TXS catless turbo back exhaust

I've got to say that Jon at HB Speed does a great job. Very methodical and careful, takes his time to get it right. The other guys in the shop, Matt, were very friendly and helpful as well. Drove 90 miles to get to his shop and wouldn't take my car anywhere else in so cal for a tune. Needless to say, I all the way home.

Is the 91 oct pull on like 18.5- 19 psi boost, If so nice numbers didn't even hit 20 psi... IMO I bet jon at hb could pull a ton more out of it on a less conservative tune. But IMO Conservative for the win over and over again...

Yep, I believe it was 19.5 psi for the 91 map and 22.5 psi for the 100 map. I totally trust his judgement on keeping it safe.

Awesome work! did you do most of the work yourself or just have the shop do it? Im working on a 2.5 hybrid swap for my '02. not sure if Im gonna swap pistons or not yet or just go with the short block. Your #'s are inspiration for me now though

I did all the work myself, except the machine work, built the engine in my garage at home and then used my buddies shop to do the R&R. I have more time than money, took me months to get all the parts.
