that's not surprising, Toyota wanted to shut down all websites with "toyota" in the domain name that weren't owned or affiliated with Toyota a while back. I remembered Toyota may have took legal action against a Pornstar who had the stage name "Lexus." There have been alot of instances like that over the years.

I'm a Supra fan too. I didn't expect the MKIV to be produced forever, but i was hoping for a next generation that would be better than the previous and we didn't even get that, not even a NA V6 *sigh*

Subaru did the same thing with websites with "Subaru" in the name. Ford also did the same thing with images of the Mustang.

Sure did. North Ursalia got burned by their Legal department, for having "Impreza" in the URL of his mods site.

As if they didn't have something better to do...

Soo stupid. Is it really worth a few bucks for all the free advertising of people putting electronic pinups of their cars....Ohh...yeah, they don't have anything sexy enough to do that do they..Why is this an issue?

The TopGear guys would have been safer with Toyotas in America, since they weren't supposed to be entertaining, and well, Toyotas aren't

Wow. It's like, OK, your company isn't doing well right now, like most car manufacturers. So, what do you do? Go after those people who are the most likely to make a Toyota a future purchase. They say there's no such thing as bad press, but I'd beg to differ in this case.

if you have good customer service, the product will sell itself. idk why toyota is doing the complete opposite and alienating their customers though. they may know how to do lean manufacturing, but obviously funding for that was pulled from customer service. lol
