Question Advice on Tire Size

I've got a set of 18 x 9 G-Forces thats going on a 04' wrx. I'm debating on a good tire size 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 which one would be a better choice? or would there be any difference besides the price? I've searched a few threads but it seems every one with that rim size goes with 235s.

255 that seems too wide and 35s is too thin I live in a rural area and don't want a bent rim. I think 40s are too thin but 45s will probably rub.

If you don't like 35 or 40 sidewalls on your tires, you should not have bought 18s.

225's are kinda narrow for a 9" rim
i'd def go 235 or wider, depending on your offset

245/40/18 imo, 45 is to tall and for an 9" rim i think 235 is to skinny, too much stretch on the tire

I was just wandering which would be best 235/40 or 225/40 i didn't know if there were issues with 235 rubbing the wheel wells. I guess I'll stick with 235/40 Thanks for all the advice.
