Angry Stay away from M2 Performance..

I know I shouldn't link to another thread, so I'll just quote what I wrote there...

Quote:

I've been trying to get in touch with them for almost 2 weeks now, before I used to get an answering machine, now I don't even get that...

They GUARANTEED I would have my replacement radiator a week after I ordered it along with my intercooler... Intercooler arrived in 2 weeks, back on 2/7. You do the math.

My car has now been sitting inoperable for 2 @#$%ing months on account of these jokers. I used to call weekly, only to be told once again every time that it would be arriving the following week at my doorstep.

Can ANYONE, ANYWHERE source a non-OEM WRX radiator quickly? I really don't care from where right now, I'm just too #$@%ing tired to wait any longer

I've got a beautiful car that's been sitting in my garage for over 2 months, because one vendor can't be honest about ship dates, delays, or return phonecalls.

Someone please help, I hate driving a 1989 Maxima Auto with 178,000 miles!
Quote:

Ironically enough they just answered the phone after I posted this.

Once again I was told they would have them at the end of the week, and would be in my hands next week. I can also tell from the voice on the phone that it is the same person I've spoken to every week for 2 months now.

I'm done with them. I cannot believe that a vendor can be this deceptive and I really do feel conned, as I bought the intercooler from them because I was getting both pieces at the same time. I would have glady bought a different manufacurer, most likely MRT, paid less, and been just as happy. I bought theirs because they promised both in a week. I now feel like I've overpaid for this piece - as well as being in the same spot I was 8+ weeks ago when this entire ordeal started.

I highly reccomend all of you stay as far away as possible from them, and I'll be contacting the BBB as well to keep them informed.

Product/manufacturing delays are an inevitable part of life. However, deliberately lying to a customer repeatedly in attempt to save a sale is disgraceful.

Na dude, I gave up.

I ordered a piece from another vendor (who I'll keep nameless since the product isn't officially released yet) that happens to make radiators for NASCAR. It's an all aluminum piece, and comes with new electric fans with a 40% increase in flow.

Should have it in about 3 weeks, let's hope...

Just as a follow up, they never contacted me again. I received one email from an employee of M2, and I requested that he update me again at the end of that week.

Still no go, so screw them. For anyone looking at this vendor in the future, their parts may be wonderful - but if they don't have them IN STOCK, don't believe them!

As an aside... the radiator company I am working with now was approached by M2 to begin manufacturing their radiators ... in other words, make the same unit with M2's name on it for them to mark up in price... leading me to believe they may not even have a fabricator at all!
