Default Guaging interest for BE/BH suspension Group Purchase.

Since I am planning to purchase some parts from Japan, kg/mm spring and fujitsubo exhaust, just wondering who else want to join and get the hard to find BE/BH suspension kit at the same time to split the freight.

The company I will go through is www.checkerflag.co.jp
I had done business w/ them about 3 times I received the parts no later than 2 weeks after the money had been wired. (Air freight of course).

Anyone have idea what suspension part to get?
coilover or simply strut and springs?

The only strut I known for BE (BE5 RSK) will be GAB HP (prova) F4, R8 adjustable one. It's going for 64800 yen ($500). The site does not mention if it's for BH though.

Whoever is interested, please list the parts you want. Hopefully, this will benefit all the legacy owners.

The site doesn't seem to have any Legacy parts on it...I would be interested (depending on pricing) on suspension parts (notably struts or coilovers). Let me know if you get some pricing details.

You will need to go into the japanese page in order to see the legacy parts.

http://www2.ocn.ne.jp/~checker/provabh5.html

I understand most of you can't read japanese. The link list Prova parts for BE/BH Legacy.
The GAB strut for BE5 RSK is listed for 64800yen

http://www2.ocn.ne.jp/~checker/be5.html
this link will list some BE Legacy parts.
They have kg/mm spring at a decent price. DR sports for 20500yen and DR21 sports for 21000yen

The above are the spring rate of the springs.
the far left will be DR sports, then DR21 Super sports then DR Racing.

Tein NA price will be 101700yen
Tein HA price will be 150400yen
JIC SF-1 price will be 116000yen

I just grab the price off the web. Group buy price should be better than this. Also, if you look at this page, http://home.catv.ne.jp/dd/checker/overseas/howto.htm they want to charge 5% bank fee. So please take that into calculation for the parts.

As usual I'm intrested. I've had my car over a year and still can't find springs. As long as the springs will be ok. for the u.s. BE I'm down. I know jacobhorn had problem with JDM spring rates on a US legacy(rear end was lowered more than front).

I finally got a hold of checkerflag last night. Unfortunatly, the price doesnt' look too good for the group buy.

They insist the kg/mm price are nearly 50% off retail thus can not lower than 20500yen.

As far as GAB strut, price will remain the same as well @ 64800yen a set.

If no one else is interested, I will just order a set for myself.

Since the response from the board is very poor. I have no plans to keep the group purchase going.
