Looks like I won't be able to have fun with this snowfall... car's in the shop since some a$$hole in a 2000 Accord rear-ended me.

Looks like just bumper damage fortunately, but I won't get the car back before April. :monkey: :monkey: :monkey: to Honda drivers. (Not that I'm bitter).

Heya Robin!

Happened Friday (22 Mar) on Riverside. I lent my GF my car and she was on her way to work. She was stopped at a light and some guy ran into her.

Fortunately, she's okay, and the damage to the car is minimal (at least from first glance.) Rear bumper assembly has to be replaced and the estimate was ~$1300... At least I don't have to pay for it. Not a happy Kevin.

I spoke with the bodyshop earlier today, and I might get the car back this Thursday depending on how fast their paint shop is working.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear.. that sucks.. I know in this weather we have AWD but we gotta be careful as well. Other drivers don't and it's scary seeing them drive. Some still drive in bald tires!

I still get the cringe when I see someone coming up on your rear fast and sliding..

Play it safe.

Worst part of it is, it happened on Friday when it was sunny and the roads were dry!!!

Some people are idiots regardless of the weather.

In any case, watch your buts out there!!! Thanks for the support!

Speaking of idiots...anyone get lucky enough to drive on the QEW last night? I think the wreckage of bald all season front wheel drivers all over the road last night proves that stupid people don't know that they are stupid. What makes everone in North America think that they are a good driver just because they have car keys? AWD saved my life countless times last night. You need to be a combat driver just to avoid all the ppl that should have stayed home.

Thankfully I took the Go train instead of driving, however, the drive home and detour were a blast!
