About 21.5 psi, and if I remember correctly it comes on about like factory if not a bit sooner, maybe around 3700. I only brought the power/torque plot home with me. I'll ask if they can email me more data.

I forgot you were there at the meet right after I went Stage II. I do like the sound AND looks of that AMR dual 3" piping for the 08.

Just to be clear, it is not close to stock when it comes to boost thresholds. If your stock turbo doesn't reach full boost until 3700 rpm, you have some serious problems. A well tuned stage 2 STI can get withing 10% of torque peak at around 3000-3100 RPM. I only mention this so I don't get a flood of people asking why their Dom 3 doesn't spool like a stock VF43/48/39.

Consider this:

Just looking at the Stage 2 numbers you can see 360 lb-ft of torque is crossed at 3000 rpm.

Keep in mind I love the Dom 3. It is a great turbo. I like seeing 08s with Dom 3s. It looks like a great setup and tune, and the power uptop must be a blast!

Cheers,

Jeff

Jeff I am glad you posted this, because I completely agree with you. This turbo spools quickly, but it is in no way similar to a stock VF. I think the expectation should be for a peak boost at/near 4000RPM for the DOM. It is a great turbo BTW.

Just mt $.02

2.4" is stock inlet. With meth or race gas the turbo can make upwards of 450whp

i have a feeling he meant a stock car.....not a tuned stage 2. and your graphs just prove his point showing peak tq on the stocker at 4k rpm.

is 248whp a typical stock whp for a 2008 sti? I am just considering the increase between 248 and 411whp. pretty sweet. time for some drop in pistons

OP those are some sick numbers any plans on tracking it i would love to see eleven's outta this setup. I love this turbo i am thinking about running a 7cm DomIII with a three inch inlet. I will also be running 272 cams equal length headers and front mount. I was wondering would this setup bring down the boost threshold without sacrificing too much up top. I have not seen anyone try it yet so i was looking for some oppinions.

in a 2.0l engine? I think you'll be hurting for spool up.

The tuner said he'd baselined some 08's between 240-260 whp.

no fully built hybrid and i also have ppg's before anyone ask's.. lol The car is my DD and it will see an open track day here or there and the strip a couple times but over all i am just looking for a very cappable fun street car.. So does the 7cm 3 inch sounds like it would be up my alley as i do not want to go rotated. Thoughts
