Default New to NASIOC! My '06 WRX TR

This is my '06 rex. Just want to say I absolutely love the car. Bought it on tuesday as is, just took off the HKS BOV and installed the stocker. I need springs BAD as well as some new rubber so I'm looking for some help on the matter. It's fast enough for the time being in a straight line so I am going to concentrate on handling for now. Anything is appreciated. Also gonna rip the rallyarmor and taillight tint off. Comments, suggestions are welcome! Also I'm looking into a cat-less d/p and less restrictive exhaust. Is it worth it?

I know these are the only pics I've got so far but just want to know what you guys think
MODS:
Blouch 18G
Perrin TMIC
Titek catted d/p
Greddy EVO 2 cat-back
SPT Intake
Perrin Inlet hose
Subydude short throw
Hallman MBC

wait are the mods you put up what you have or what you want??? you have an 18G yet no downpipe?

good suspension mods are swaybars and endlinks.

http://www.iwsti.com/forums/gd-suspe...uspension.html

this has a lot of great information on suspension mods.

keep the rally armor flaps on and get 04-05 wrx tail lights.

i kinda like the tail light tint and rallyarmour mudflaps . the '07 altezzas are definitely frowned upon among impreza owners. if i had tail light tint, however, i would clear and black out the headlight housings . enjoy!

it seems as though he currently has a catted dp, and wants to get a catless. OP, 18g turbo, I would never ever buy a used WRX/STi with an upgraded turbo.

well that's exactly what he wants to hear after he just bought a car with one. also even stock cars can blow up a week after you buy them. my car for example. i'd rather buy the car modded than have the previous owner return it to stock and lie to me.

Would you if the seller had it profesionally tuned and installed with reciepts from a good local tuner? Not that I'm selling mine or anything...but that's why I took it to a tuner, because I wanted the job done right the first time and long-term reliability...

Nice car!! Now go for the swaybars/endlinks next!!

Although I somewhat agree, however I have nearly the same mods the OP does and other then track days which are few and far between I treat the car like its my baby with a low boost DD map. I usually end up doing maintenance more then required (100% syn oil every 3k w/ oil analysis every 6k, spark plugs every 10k w/ compression checks, Motul trans fluid 25k and syn diff oil 25k, etc etc). Plus I make sure there are never any "tricks" or surprises to ownership or operation....

With all the mods I'd be willing to bet my car is in better shape then a lot of stock vehicles with similar miles....

i might be an exception to the rule though...

flaps drag under hard cornering. and going to be taken off when i put on new pads and s/s lines. owned by a subaru mechanic, has 36k on it with 60k warranty. god forbid anything happens to it ill just throw on the stock parts. conservative tune, only running 19.5psi. hopefully going to be doing some data logging this weekend. as for the fact that i bought it with the 18G, i've rode in my buddies '02 w/ bolt ons and tune, as well as a friends '07 sti with similar mods also driven a bone stock '06. after driving this, it was a no brainer. had to get it. stock turbo was going to get upgraded down the road anyway. love the fact it has no wing, i like the clean look. headlights going to be painted soon as well. thanks for the comments guys.
